I ran my first half marathon at the end of June. I finished my recovery week and my first week of my training. Tomorrow is my first long run, 12 miles. I know that I can do it! I just took on a challenge with some friends from facebook to run everyday in the month of July. So far I've only missed one day and ended up running twice the next day, first 6 miles and then 2 miles shortly thereafter with my daughter. I'm sort of following the "what's next" plan from my training group I was a part of for the half. But I know that not all plans are one size fits all. So instead of running 12 tomorrow I think I am going to shoot for 10 miles. I have plenty of time to continue to train. I want to gain strength and endurance before my next race. But I do not want to wear myself out completely like I did the first time around. I need to make sure I pay attention to my body! Thanks for listening to me ramble on about my plan. I feel that if I put it out there I'm more apt to follow through with it!! emoticon

Don't put off till tomorrow what you can accomplish today!
