Good luck and congratulations!

I don't win races, but I always cross the finish line. I'm not fast, but I try my best to become faster. I don't have sports endorsements or earn a paycheck, but that doesn't stop me from running. My pace does not define me. Just because "professional" does not precede "athlete" in describing me doesn't make my running any less valuable. I am an everyday athlete; leading a normal life, but with big goals and dreams.
I am an athlete. I am a runner. (runzoerun.com)

Good luck this weekend! You will be great! Think of how wonderful it's going to feel as you're accomplishing this goal. I am running my first next month and am also having an attack of the nerves. I am so slow, but determined to finish and prove that I can run! You can do it! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Good luck! I ran my first marathon in May...it's a great feeling when you cross that finish line. Trust in your training and yourself!

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right!

emoticon did you hear me? I said emoticon .

Your nerves WILL go away. I just ran my first HM on Mother's day. You will love it. You are ready. You will go and have a great time. You will remind yourself (as I did) to go slow, just keep your nice easy pace (that's what I told myself). You will enjoy that a water stop is right around the corner. You will keep your nice easy pace and feel good when you finish. YOU WILL HAVE COMPLETED A HM.

emoticon emoticon I am so happy 4 u!

I am running in the San Diego 1/2 marathon on Sunday and I am beginning to get nervous. My goal is just to finish. No time goal or anything. I just want to complete the marathon. Wish me luck that the nerves will go away.
