When Geo went to Oregon for over a I had to deal without him. We have this giant, 4 foot 3 inches tall teddy bear we call Osito (means little bear in Spanish) and I would cuddle with him at night. I tried to keep busy all the time. For the most part it worked. I had one bad day where I didn't get out of bed and was miserable. If you can find something to distract you (tv, computer, whatever works) that may help. I hate to admit it because it's embarrassing, but I would smell his shirts from the laundry. It did help, though. If you need someone to talk to, send me an email... I've been a bad buddy and not contacting you. *hugs*

My hubby was home on vacation all last week. We've been battling dealing with my constant hypomanic swings for almost a year now. Every week having multiple moods during the week. I've noticed that when the weekend comes by Sunday morning I begin to become stable and then by Tuesday I am back into a swing. I was stable for the past 4 days but hubby went back to work and I started into they hypomanic swing by the afternoon. I think hubby is a stabilizing force for me. He obviously can't be home all the time. Do you guys experience the same thing? What coping measures do you have in place for when hubby/partner isn't around?
