Oh goodness! They're creepy little buggers, aren't they? Unless of course you went to my high school, in which case little would not be a word to describe them. Our school was a fallout shelter, and we're pretty sure it's because it was insulated in super roaches.

Sorry about your scare though, Bizi. I bet it made the snacky feeling go away at least.

A freaky thing happened to me tonight.
Jeff was gone to see a movie with a friend and I was snacky even though I had already had dinner at whole foods.
So I picked up a cup of ramen noodles from the pantry.
Riped off the plastic wrap and pulled back the sealed paper top to reveal a....
living COCK ROACH!!!!
oh my god......
I freaked out.
How can this be????
I was going to call jeff but he was in the movies then I called my sister and she calmed me down. Come to find out the roach had eaten his way thru the Styrofoam into the cup...there was a hole in the side of the cup easily visable once I turned it around.
I have to say I was shaken up over this.
I initially thought that this creature survived for years enclosed in this cup, eating hard ramen noodles....

I will... And agreed. I seriously don't know how I lost track of when I had been last. Makes some sense though... That's what set off my insanely long list of specialists. I've seen each one of them about 4x each since, but not my primary besides for being in sick.

I just went through the online scheduling and the first available appointment with my provider is January 13th. So I took it. Added a note that I've been feeling "off". It's kinda scary. Looked back at all my past appointments and realized that my last actual physical was in 2013! It's ridiculous! I swear I've been more recently than that, but only for follow-ups from other issues. Not full physicals.

On another note, yesterday I was feeling better... today I'm not again. The difference? Yesterday I had Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. Today I had my USUSAL oatmeal. I'm thinking the oatmeal may be the problem? Seriously? Of all things. When the heck did I develop a sensitivity to oatmeal? Very frustrating... especially going into Christmas cookie season.

I talked to my aunt about how I was feeling today, and she said her one coworkers is having the same problems. She immediately went to low blood sugar, but i highly doubt that's my issue. I'm not having spikes. Just a constant wonkiness. I wonder if i could have my Dr call in a full panel of blood work without having to go in for a physical. I've been in his office 4 times in the past month between me and my husband having to see him for various reasons, and is hate to use up all his time when i knew he's got a huge patient load

I just drink a cup and refill. If I don't drink I feel sick. But then, drinking makes me feel sick too. Low sodium might be something to think about...

I've had some luck with the Vicks. Maybe I should actually start remembering to do that again.

I'll trade you houses. My grandfather has the heat cranked up to 70. It's nearly 80 in here right now and I feel like I may pass out from heat stroke. I've been sweating out all the water I'm drinking too fast to even imagine, but I'm also having that water intoxication thing because I'm drinking about 24 oz an hour. I'm so parched though.

IT is very difficult to get rid of fungus almost impossible.
There is laser treatments, very expensive and insurance doesn't cover it...I believe.
nail removal works sometimes.
some people swear by vicks vapor rub twice a day for a year...I have not seen any success with my clients who have tried that.

it has been a week and my hair is awful!
I don't have a client this morning so have plenty of time to just get in there.....
It is such a no brainer for most people....

it is chilly in the house. 50 outside 66 in here....burr.
a hot shower sounds good but I always run out of hot water when I do get in there...maybe that disappointment is what keeps me away.
I would like one of those hot water on demand boxes....endless hot water!
They are expensive....

That will feel good on my back(another reason to just get in there....... taking advil and tumeric after lunch with my other meds.

Hey Bizi, any suggestions on how to get rid of toenail fungus without actually going to the doctor? I swear, every time I'm in the office I forget about it. Besides which, my doctor's pretty good looking and I don't wanna show him my gross feet, lol.

We have a NAMI support group that meets twice a month. It is frequented with bipolar, depressed, anxiety, schzo effective disorders. some are bipolar 1 like me...so that is good. The meetings almost always run over because they are full and people need to talk.
There are most people there who are on disability, unable to work. Thankfully I am self employed nurse. I operate a foot care business., bringing in home pedicures to the elderly.
Have been doing this for over 15 years.
I am very thankful for my job and my sanity.

Xena's hair is nicely pulled back today. Of course her "bangs" are still loose.

My friend's mom told me stories from whn she worked in a daycare about almost constantly having lice. They weren't very financially secure and she couldn't constantly afford to get the lice treatments for herself and her kids so she would take care of her own hair by soaking it in kerosine.

Just thinking of lice gives me that paranoid scalp itch.

My niece had a locker below a boy that always had lice. She had beautiful long hair. She was always so embarrassed as she had lice a lot. Glad when we were in school we didn't have to worry about that in our town. (Of course, I was in grade school in the late sixties and early seventies.) I know. Just aged myself big time!!

I think I'm in a bit of trouble today. Overlooked pulling up my daughter's hair this morning and there's a lice issue in her Pre-k. Her teacher had to tie it up with a rubber band. Hopefully I'll remember tomorrow. It hasn't come home with her yet. Fingers crossed that it doesn't.

Today I'm thankful that my baby girl slept in. I was able to eat my breakfast in peace.

I am still tired, and didn't get as much sleep as I'd like, but that's my own fult for going to bed so late when I knew I had to get up in the morning to take Xena to school. She's driving me crazy today. Yesterday she wore her good school clothes, today she wore an old pair of stained leggings and a slightly too small shirt. She even has clean laundry because I got it all folded and put away yesterday. I'm strssing out a bit over all that needs to get done before the holidays. I can't keep up with the messes the kids make, and getting them to clean up after themselves is like pulling teeth. ::sigh:: I have to try to get a bulk of things tidied today because tomorrow is trash day and I want to be sure all the garbage they've hidden gets out the door.

I AM SO SORE TODAY!
I planned to drink and enjoyed myself.
Hubby drove last night and I got a bit tipsy, very friendly and talkative. loved feeling that way, no social anxiety issues when I drink.
or rather they have lightened up since I have had the medication change. Felt hypomanic when the day was said and done. Hubby mentioned it. Need to keep a lid on that.
No harm done.
I bought a pair of gray jeans and a pretty pink and gray sweater for $30 after using my kohls cash and coupon.
not bad.
So I have 3 new sweaters, new leggings and a pair of jeans for our winter trip up north next month.
Not too hypomanic!

I did a 5k in 2014. Run or Dye. Good time. Then we went to the Philladelphia Zoo. I definitely got my steps in that day, lol. I haven'y done one since, which makes me a little sad. I feel like I can't plan that far in advance now. Things keep cropping up that has our plans constantly changing.

I did the 10K cajun cup!!!!
I finished 11 minutes faster this year at 1 hour 20 minutes for 6.2 miles.
(13 minute mile)
I am very sore now. Maybe I should get a message? my hips are really sore.
thank you for the nice words.
I guess it was fun...I really pushed myself the last mile, my hips were hurting and I thought they hurt when I walk so I might as well jog!
I sprinted the last .2 miles....my thighs were quivering.
There was music and food at the finish park.
Looked for a beer but they were gone. Had a great bowl of jambalya, rice and meats and gravy sort of dish. yummy. and part of a banana and apple. I am full!
My friend who encouraged me to run ended up one minute slower than me, which really surprised me. She ran the marine marathon last year but she has been having a pulled back muscle for the past couple of months.
A nice lady let me park right in front of her house which was lucky because I was trying to find a place to park. And I remembered where it was parked to come home LOL.
Anyway, I am very happy with the morning and how things turned out!!!

I'm grateful that I found the missing library book and won't have to pay a fine, grateful that the car is fixed and I can drive it safely, and grateful to have Xena's medical forms completed even if I had to argue with the doctor why parts of it were necessary when it's usually not required for kids not yet kindergarten age.

Today I Had Knee Replacement Surgery. As I sit in this hospital bed I am thinking how grateful I am and that eveything went well. My family ia all here. What more coud you ask ffor!

Sounds fantastic, Inari!

Today I have the pleasure of filling out my daughter's birthday party invitations. Is it weird that I feel a little stressed about her having a party for her friends to attend? It's reserved, it covers most of everything. The only thing I really need to do is bake a cake or cupcakes for it. Not that I actually HAVE to, but I know some of her classmates have allergies, and I want them all to have a good time and be able to partake in the cake. Let's face it, there aren't many places that can guarantee me a nut, egg, and dairy free cake. And her best friend doesn't like frosting or chocolate. Safer for me to take care of it.

Ugh. That's the worst, Diane! And they play off each other too. The hallucinations won't let ya fall asleep and then the lack of sleep makes the hallucinations stronger. Vicious cycle. I hope you get some really peaceful sleep tonight!

I had a bad night last night.... hallucinations and insomnia. I took an extra half of Haldol and 2mg of Klonopin. I kept waking up all night, though... When I woke up I felt good despite the lack of consistent sleep.

I got a laugh from a guy at Wal-Mart today. He informed me that the FDA has approved the use of tranquilzer darts (but no more than 2 a day) on children. Sounds tempting at the moment since they're driving me batty.

I try and help people the most I can.. I donate blood, cut my hair and send it to Pantene for wigs for kids and I'm an organ donor. I use to donate my hair to Locks of Love, but sometimes they don't use all the hair they get.

I'm getting my migraine back... I took some pills and lay for a while, but it didn't break yet. Other than that, life is good!

I slept fairly well on the 40 mg of geodon and .5mg of klonipin.
as prescribed.
got up early at 7;15. wanting a cup of coffee. I had a weird dream about visiting a poor family and spending time with them. small living quarters clothes everywhere, food rotten, little water bottles. I wanted to support the older girl who was there...trying to figure out how much it would cost to support her. then woke up.
My life is very rich. I hope I don't take it for granted.
I strive to eat better more organics fruits and veggies, meat that is more humanely raised, grass fed beef, vegetarian fed chickens, while half of the whole world is just trying to find enough to eat to survive.
I send a small amount each month to the second harvest(food bank).
I should do so much more.....

I've been sleeping okay when the kids let me. Occasional weird nightmares and insomnia. Not sure how long that's going to last since we're going into the stressful part of the year.

It took me a while to get to sleep, but once I was asleep I only woke up a couple of times. That's a good night for me. I woke up at 11:30 am but went back to sleep. I woke up at noon and got out of bed. That's pretty normal for me. I'm cooking pork chops in pork gravy mixed with chicken broth for dinner... should be done soon. I need to go for a walk.. I was down from 288.6 pounds to 226.4 pounds. I did over 3 miles yesterday getting things together for my birth control shot. I think I might try to take a walk after dinner.

I slept like a rock.
I took 80mg of geodon and 5mg of ativan.
Jeff gave me a nice back rub and the heating pad did the trick.
went to whole foods tonight and had 3 beers.
they were craft beers.
Had salmon and brocolli then fries at whole foods with brown gravy and cheese curds...yummy!
so much for my diet!
out the window!

I am thankful for getting sleep... My sleeping pill doesn't put me to sleep, but it makes me sleep until 2pm. I'm just going to take my other sleeping pill so I can wake up on time.
