My OCD is kicking in to high gear with this new job. Finding I need to have everything perfect, spend a lot of energy wasting time and then beating myself up for not having things "just so".
Doesn't happen to often, hopefully it won't carry to far into my home life.

James is being somewhat more attentive and is giving a half assed try at making this relationship work. Houston and surrounding areas have a lot of activities and we agreed to go out Friday evening for a couple hours and then do something fun on Saturday. I searched the internet and found 21 different things we could do ranging from free or just a few bucks to $350 per person (hey, had to try, LoL). He had no interest in any of the activities even though one of his top complaints was that we never go do anything and end up staring at each other and the four walls all weekend. Oh, how I try.

I guess I need to come up with 21 more activities!

Dinner lefties are put away, kitchen is cleaned up and the DW is washing away. Time to brush teeth and crawl into bed as it will be another 4am wake up call again tomorrow. UGH!

I hope you have a nice trip! Sure sounds like it's going to be a quick one and I know that you are going to make the most of it.

I'm doing okay... I've been having a lot of stomach problems and sleeping really late (last night I went to bed at 1am) and sleeping all day. I see my therapist Tuesday and she's going to be sad that I couldn't keep up with my homework. I tried, but it just got overwhelming. I was supposed to make a schedule and I couldn't keep it up. Maybe she can have me do it on my computer since I'm online a lot... I think I can give it a shot!

Up at 1:30 a.m. Flying to San Francisco to take son out to dinner tonight & fly home tomorrow! Husband is doing better than I. I screwed up my back really badly by taking too long a hike after being inactive for so long w/him in the hospital & the 1st few weeks he was home.

Son works full-time (36) & will start MBA program at Cal Berkeley nights in a couple weeks so he will be totally busy. We missed his birthday while husband was in hospital.

Had to go to doc on Friday to get pain meds as I couldn't hardly walk & would not be able to make trip. Wouldn't have been able to walk through airport or sit on plane really as couldn't find comfortable position sitting either.

At 2:10 will take shower & pack. 2:03 now. Leave for airport at 4:30. 2 hr drive...

Today was better. He went out to get his truck washed and stopped by the Pet-Co to see about adopting a dog as a companion for Brooke. Seems our dog needs a pet, LoL. Tracked down several places and they were closed or only had large dogs. Probably better so this isn't a rash decision.

Went grocery shopping and got everything but meats. Guess he was shocked to see the prices.....he paid for the wagon full of groceries.

Better get the chicken breaststroke out of the slow cooker, shred them up to be ready for dinner.

*hugs Carol* I'm sorry you have to go through all the drama.

I'm losing weight again.... I can't get under 222. Today I was at 223.4, but last week I got down to 222.0 and then went back up to 224. I keep sabotaging myself. I know I can do it... I'm broke so I can't go out to eat and get calories that way. We are also low on food stamps for the rest of the month. Just trying to get through

Well, yesterday was a real bust. He (who shall remain nameless), left at 8 am saying it was going to be a quick and short day. Heard absolutely nothing from him all day. Over 12 hours later he texts me "with Janie, talk later". Janie would be his step mom. He finally got home at 11:30pm....over 15 hours later. I was fuming mad!
He told me what was going on and I understood what the situation was. I spoke up and let him know he was in trouble and why. Don't really think he heard me, but will try again next time it happens. I was worried, feeling disrespected felt like he really didn't give a flying flip about my feelings. Spent the day cleaning house, getting things put away and making a good dinner and got a slap in the face.

UGH!! Men!

Just posting to use you all as strength. I have been having trouble with PTSD depression & anxiety now that husband has been out of hospital for 3 weeks. Crisis over so now I can fall apart.

Been binge eating so writing to you right now instead of searching out the ice cream that is in good supply since husband lost 20 lbs in hospital (on feeding tube) so only weighs 130 lbs & needs to ingest lots of calories. I don't!

Meds provider said wait 1 month to get back to a normal routine of exercise (yoga in particular for stress relief) before resorting to going back on Wellbutrin & Klonopin that I just got off about 6 weeks prior to the health crisis of my husband's.

Been on Wellbutrin this time (after a break of 5 yrs or so) about 3 yrs & Klonopin about 20 yrs!

*hugs* Carol. I'm here for you when you need me. if there is anything I can do just let me know. I'm doing okay.... I bombed an interview Monday and today got notice that I didn't get the job. I knew it was going to happen so it's not as big of a loss. I need to start doing things the way I should be.... Going to the gym, volunteering and such. My therapist and I worked out a daily plan for me but I was too tired this morning to get up to go to the gym. Hopefully I can go tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles KAUAI-CAROLANN. Been there, done that. Take heart, once you get your self straightened around things will get better. At least you have a job and that is a plus. I've been in the same boat, as stated, and once I got the help that I needed I was much better off than before. Sending you positive energy and hugs! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Ugh! Things have gone from tolerable to bad to worse. Spent the day looking for women's shelters and assistance programs to help with rent, utilities and prescriptions.

I no longer believe in fairy tails or Mr. Wonderful.

HiYa!

It's been a crazy few months and I've MIA. Just got a job and started on Monday and the week was wild and crazy. Hopefully next week will be better...sure it will now that I have a better idea what the job & scads of paperwork are all about.

Today has been a bummer kind of day.

Happy and Safe 4th of July! Geo and I are going to stay home.... I can't go to fireworks shows because I get hypomanic and then as we are leaving I go into depression. So we don't go. I feel bad holding him back, but he understands. *hugs* to all!

I started the cardiac rehab program and so far have two days in....I feel safe being on a monitor...
I have been having terrible allergy problems so I'm going to go to the ENT....a little sad we don't do anything for the holidays with our children as the y are close by, but today there have been thunder boomers all morning long with rain so maybe it's just as well...

My psych changed up my meds now I need to adjust to them. I accidentally slept after my alarm and was late to work. My boss is very nice to me and I worked for a few hours and went home

Hi everyone, I have joined a couple challenges on some of the message boards to help me reach my goals this month. I want to lose 5 pounds this month, and I am planning on getting there by measuring all my foods again, staying within my calorie limits, and starting exercise back up again. This morning I exercised with the Walk Away The Pounds video for 15 min. I know that's not very long but I have not exercised in over two weeks and I got to start somewhere lol. I feel so much better now that I have exercised. I do not even know why I stopped for the last two weeks if it makes me feel this good lol.

I am working out on the elliptical for two thirty minute sessions every Tuesday and Thursday in this month. When I get to the gym I will set up a strength training routine with a personal trainer for a few sessions just until I get to know how to use some of the machines properly.
