It's not an immediate fix but Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) works wonders for me and my bipolar disorder. It teaches all kinds of coping skills. It's a bit of a process and takes some time and is a lot of work but well worth it. Maybe something to look into...

I'm hypomanic during the day and depressed at night. I just take some sleeping pills (2 mg Klonopin) and try and sleep. The more sleep I get (to a point) the better and more stable I feel.

Hi everyone, I wanted to see if any of you had advice for dealing with a mixed episode. I'm usually more at risk for hypomania this time of year, but I've been very easily angered/irritated or depressed lately. I have an appointment with my psych today, but any suggestions from fellow people dealing with bipolar would be a huge help. Thanks.
