I got the cell phone alarm thing going as well - alarm (with a pretty ringtone) for everything from morning doses, mid-morning/late morning vitamins to evening and night.

Actually, I downloaded a separate alarm function just for meds and vitamins. Use the one most phones come with for wake up alarms.

One of those pill boxes helps, too. Sun-Sat broken up into individual days so you can toss it into your purse or pocket and then each day is broken into 5 sections. Dole out your stuff a week at a time.

Hope you figure out a system that works for you!

do you have a cell phone with you at all times? or a watch? or always in similar spot each day around the med time?

set an alarm .. have it vibrate or buzz or visually alert you to what time it is ... make it part of the habit or routine of the day

i suck at mid day pills. i have a weird system of morning pills in the back of the drawer .. and move ones i take at night to the front of the drawer .. but for also mid day ones i had to put them on top of the dresser so that I'd see them when i looked that way. and if they were still sitting out it meant I needed to take them.

i also have a log/tracker on my phone that i try to remember to enter the time when i took the meds. i suck at doing it the same time everyday though no matter AM or PM or whenever ... but i have a crappy sleep schedule that only compounds the issue.

How are you measuring your year? Speeding tickets, cups of coffee, love

HI! I've known I am bipolar for 7 months now. Taking daily meds is new to me. During the week I do great since I'm at work for my mid-day dose. But I have a lot of trouble getting my afternoon med dose on time (if at all). I know taking my meds as consistently as possible is VERY important to my overall well-being.

Does anyone else have this problem? Over come this problem? Have any advice?

Thank you!

One day at a time.
