Well here it is Dec. 29 and I did not maintain my weight like I wanted to.. emoticon

I gained 3lbs...oh well, time for New Years Resolutions! That's when its time to start over, right? Lol.. emoticon

I'm doing a bit better on goals... I did have to take some money from savings, but I can replenish it next month when Geo starts paying me back again. I bought him a PS3 from my money, but he's paying me back $100 at a time.

am pretty much slacking. i did get my haircut on the 8th. and i did activate the fitness membership on the 10th. but i didn't work out last week. tonight i'm going to try Zumba if i'm not down with sickly crap. got DBT here in just a little bit. that usually perks me up.

How's everyone doing on meeting their Individual goals for December?
My goal was to maintain my weight for the month. I weighed in today and was up by one pound but I'm not sweating it because my exercise was off this past week so next weigh in (Sat. 12/22) I'm hoping for a loss because I'm back in the saddle now so I should be back to starting weight if not less--Hoping for less.

How are you doing on yours? Feedback is great! Let us know...Do u need some support?

*hugs HVAC* Don't stress out about your mom. You are allowed to miss her.. just know that she would want you to be happy without her, not depressed over it. I still miss my father, 16 years later. See if you can make a big party for yourself for your birthday, or have someone do it for you, as a way of representing your mom.

My Dec. goal is to get thru at least one week with no tears. My birthday is this month, Christmas is this month and I lost my mother and I'm still not over it-3 years later. I know I should be, but the holidays used to be our time. Sure, we would fight, but she always made a HUGE deal out of my b-day since it's so close to Christmas to make me feel special. I miss that.

I think for my Dec. goal I would like to do 45 minutes of walking each day and keep from gaining weight over the holidays. If I can maintain till after the first of 2013 I should be able to get really serious after that. Lucinda

I will do my best to meet and surpass my goal. Never stop learning or trying to achieve success. Never give up keep plugging away. If it is to be it's up to me. .

I have just one goal and that is to continue going to the gym at least three times a week or do at least two days of gym and one day of heavy house cleaning or busy work...I horseback ride every other week so that uses a lot of muscles and is excellent cardio...not to mention emotional support.

I would like to keep up with my elliptical routine after work as well as do a video over the weekend; I absolutely love Yoga Booty Ballet. Occasionally if I can throw on the DVD in the middle of the week it seems to really perk me up.
I do not want to gain weight, if anything continue to lose and be able to maintain that thereafter.

Seems my October & November goals came in at the 50% mark...so I'm going to re-do part of the do over but switch it up a little.

Morning sets of arm ST moves (Wallies, Triceps Extensions, Lateral Raises) with either 2 or 5 pound weights.

I participate in a online daily challenge. For the month of December I'm in the "Simple Yoga" section and will do the 1-3 minute challenge every day. For example, today's challenge is ferris wheel breaths.....let your arms hang in front of you with one hand gently holding the other. Breathe from your abdomen. As you inhale, circle your hands forward and up, with your palms facing your body. As you exhale, bring your hands in toward your body and down. Keep your breath smooth and continuous as you go from inhaling to exhaling and back again; change direction as you use your arms to send your "Ferris wheel" around four more times.

With the new meds/meds adjustment, it's not smart to have even a part of a glass of wine, so I'm going to treat myself on the celebratory days of the month and find other fun low carb beverages to celebrate with.

While a weight loss of any kind would be good, I really, really don't want to gain this month!

i have been procrastinating some stuff .. like haircut and signing up for that fitness pass I got selected for... i need to shake off the dream crap and shower and go for my haircut. maybe if i just get moving i'll feel better.

soooo... that means for Dec i WILL go sign up for the pass and i WILL go at least 2x per week if not more often...

I know last month we set ourselves some goals for the month of Nov. Some we did good with--others not so much..Lol. But I figured we could give it another go. So, why don't we all try to set atleast one goal to achieve for the month of Dec. This is NOT a challenge. It's an individual process. It can be a fitness goal, a personal goal, a nutritional goal. Whatever u want to change and really want to TRY to change. emoticon , gang. We have nearly the whole month to do it! So, let's give it a go.

My individual goal for December is to not GAIN weight this month. Right now I am 212 (still) and I want to be at that weight or below on Jan. 1. That's my goal
