Sorry! I meant silicilates - they are the building blocks of colour and flavour in food. They are derived from salactic acid. I have a hyper sensitivity for them so foods that are high in silicilates (like seafood, chilli, red fruits and vegetables, pork) push me over the edge. ;-) thanks for adding me as a friend.

I stop breathing and go into a semi-anaphylactic fit, especially when eating at restuarants. I had four such episodes before I learned I was sensitive to sacilcilates. I curbed how much I exposed myself to them and became even more sensitive to them. Now I pretty much know what to eat, but every now and then I still get caught out.
