I'm from Ontario, Canada and most places here will make things or suggest things to work with you. I know sometimes it is easier to just have salad.

I don't really eat out much anymore. It hsa been 3 months now since I found out about my allergies and I've only gone out to eat a couple of times. I'm going to have to eat out this weekend because hubby and I are going to Laughlin for 3 days. I will have to order salad and potatoes and plain meats. Everything will have to be plain unless they show me exactly what goes on the food that I order. It seems that onion is in almost all seasonings and dressings nowadays. I just can't escape it. That seems to be the hardest one to avoid.

I haven't heard anything in regards to the law that you mention out here. I'm down in Arizona. We don't seem to have anything like that here.

I have found 2 restaurants that I can eat at that are willing to accomidate my allergies though. One is a place hubby and I used to regular at so when we go there, they take care of me. The other is a healfood buffet. It is a salad, pasta and soup bar. The food is great but I couldn't eat anything other than the salad. So they made up a special batch of pasta for me so I could have variety. They were really great about the whole thing. That is a place that I will definitely go back to.

Running brings me health and happiness!
