My goal is to be able to keep up with my family, and to feel more freedom in my life.
As far as numbers go, I'd like to first get back to pre-second-pregnancy weight, which was 175.

I'm aiming to lose 20 pounds. That would put me at how much I weighed when I got pregnant with my first. I was on the right track and then I decided to stop monitoring for a little while and gained 5 back!

I really have to focus on eating right. The exercise part is not so hard for me. I try to fit it in at work and I know when I have my lunches back (I have to spend them pumping right now) that I'll get that routine back.

Haha, my hubby would definitely encourage me to eat frosting as well. We love food. That's what makes this process so hard. I don't wanna give up my favorite foods! Moderation is definitely our key to success.

Getting up early to get our workout out of the way is also key for us. We have 4 children (9, 6, 4.5, and 2.5..and I also watch a friend's 1 year old 3 days a week), so once they get up it is balls to wall til they go to bed..trying to squeeze in a workout while they are up can be virtually impossible. Plus, getting it done early gives me a sense of accomplishment and helps me to not procrastinate so much. And I used to not believe in it, but it also gives me more energy to make it through the rest of the day.

Yes I am trying my best, really would like to be down maybe 20lbs by the time I go on vaca in August...I'm figuring 2lbs a week it should be possible if I can just stick with it. I really feel the exercise part of it is close to impossible for me right now...so I am mainly focusing on my eating...trying to keep it at 3 meals a day with light snacking...weekends are the hardest when hubby and I are on the go...temptations galore, he loves a big breakfast and we usually go out for lunch on sundays, so it's hard to stay focused with so many distractions...

@ MOREFITNESS - I know what you mean. I just had my second in December and It feels impossible to find time to exercise. Even walking with the stroller feels like such a hassle with two. I TRY to make healthy food for myself a priority but that usually ends up being toast with peanut butter or something lol. Not the best but all we can do is try!

I am a mom of 2 boys. I was very successful about 5 years ago losing about 40lbs for my wedding, I got pregnant about 3 months after the wedding, gained the weight back with the pregnancy. I just had my second baby boy last year, have been dieting on and off since then but just cant seem to stick with it. Feel like I am always on the go, and a lot of the time I don't have time to prepare healthy meals for myself. Also, now its much harder to lose the weight with a family to tend to. Looking for a buddy in a similar position where we can work towards our goal together.

He goes hot and cold with it sometimes, but when that switch flips, he is all in! It makes it so much easier for me to stay on track. I've done it by myself for so long and he's always been encouraging and supportive, but it is definitely motivating to have him along for the ride.

I am also in the losing phase. I have 28 lbs to lose to reach my first goal, which will be what I weighed when I got married almost 12 years ago. Ultimately, I would like to lose 10 more after that, but I want to get to that weight and reevaluate.

My hubby is on this journey with me, so we are having a blast doing this together!

I'll start us off. Right now my goal is to lose. I have about 30 pounds till I reach my final goal weight. I'm also trying to tone up as I go. Then I will begin trying to maintain from there.

I'm also working on planks. I'm up to 45 seconds on my elbows. I'm hoping to be able to eventually reach the 5 minute mark.

What is everyone's goal? Are you trying to lose weight? Maintain? Tone those muscles? How is your journey going so far?
