Marilyn,

That is one of the little things you are going to remember about Sasha. A little move this way a bark for specific reasons that only you knew........so many that it can fill your heart with love again and again. I am so sorry that Sasha is gone and I am sending my sincere sympathies for your loss to you and you family. You will always miss her and she will always have a special place in your heart. They will be at the Rainbow bridge waiting for us to come with them, our little Chi's have the biggest hearts. God's blessings to you. Eileen

I'm grateful to all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers and best wishes. It's still painful to think, write or talk about Sasha....but this is what I miss most right now. We had a daily ritual where my husband and Serena would play their silly game that involved Serena running and lunging at him. To be safe from the loonies running wild, Sasha would come to me and I would hold her in my arms and she would put her head on my shoulder. She pretended that she couldn't bear to watch the mayhem, but would turn around to peek and then put her head back down. Silly, but such a part of our routine.

Marilyn,

My heart goes out to you and your family. I agree with everyone else. She went peacefully knowing that you loved her. I lost my 13 year old cat last December & my 14 year old dog last May, both during surgery. Neither of them did I get to say "good bye" to, and of course it was a shock when the vet called to say they had passed away. But I would rather have had them go that way, then for them to have suffered. I know that I will see Bobcat & Bobbi again in Heaven again soon. Why would God give us the love of precious animals here on earth of we would not get to be with them again in Heaven? He is not a cruel God. Marilyn, I KNOW first hand that it is much easier said then done, but lean on the Lord as much as you can during your time of mourning, he will get you thru as easily as possibly. And know that Sasha is, right now, looking down on you saying "mom, I am ok I am not in pain anymore I love you and I am waiting for you here at the Rainbow Bridge".

Please know that your in my prayers. And please, talk to all of us, as much as you want about anything you want. Please do not think that anything is stupid. Remember. all of us are Animal LOVERS!!!!

Love you,

~~Starr~~

I'm so sorry my heart goes out to you. I'm happy to hear she went peacefully at home with her family. You will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm so sorry too, but full of joy that she died happy in a home that truly loved her and cared for her so much. That is what every dog deserves and you gave it to her. emoticon

I totally agree with everyone. So sorry for your lost. I know it is not easy. There will be a void in your heart. But, you will see her again someday in heaven. I believe that! emoticon

So sorry Marilyn. But you will see her again, I truly believe that- how could heaven be heaven without animals (especially chihuahuas!) So glad it was a peaceful ending. We can't ask for more- and she had a wonderful and happy home and life. God bless.

You will miss her, but at least she was peaceful!

My condolences!
