I have an actual Menu board. I got the idea from pinterest. I have 7 clothespins attached to a frame. (It is decorated all cute) One pin for each day of the week. I have all of my meals written on little cards and on the back of the cards is a list of all the ingredients for shopping and the calorie, fat and protein info per serving. I sit down on Fridays and plan out my week before I make my Walmart trip on Saturdays. This REALLY helped me & my family stay on track. UNTIL I stopped using it. BIG mistake! Grab and go just does not work around here. I plan on starting my menu board back up this Friday!!

I get Sebastian to make a list of several things he wants during the month and then I fill in the rest. I fix easy crockpot meals on Sundays and Wednesdays because of church. I also have a few days a month for "leftovers" and "fend for yourself"!!

How do you menu plan?

I am starting back to weekly meal planning .. This recovery process and the meds are playing havoc with my system and metabolism. I think I need to find some written structure at this point to stay on track.
