I'll sure try. With pretty weather, I can get outside alot more and sweat up a storm. 2 hours fishing yesterday & 3 hours on the mower today in the hottest hours ought to help some.That is if sweating helps you lose weight?????

If my calculations are correct, the 10 in 10 challenge ended 5/14/08. I only lost 1.4 lbs., but I'm glad for that because I had surgery and couldn't exercise. I was really just trying to maintain. But I'm back at it now. Serious about my eating habits and able to exercise. Anybody want to try the challenge again? by the way, how did everyone else do?

Just saw Janice's earlier post about the challenge ending tomorrow. OOPS!

When is our 10 in 10 challenge over? I know I will not have lost those 10 pounds. I can't put any weight on my leg so I can't get on a scale right now, but my goal is just to maintain since I'm not able to exercise or cook right now. My daughter cooked Friday and I had baked chicken but Saturday and Sunday was fast food. I'll be on these crutches a few more weeks but after then I'll be able to start back exercising. How's everyone else doing with the challenge?

Hi Ladies. It's been a while since I've joined the discussion, but I've still been working out and trying to eat better. This challenge has been tough for me. Instead of losing a pound a week. It seemed like I was gaining. But, at least it's starting to go back into the losing direction again.

I haven't given up. Just haven't had the time at work to chat very much.

Hello I love T-Tapp. I ordered them online from t-tapp.com they are kind of pricey. I purchased them last fall and used them only once or twice. But know I'm using them almost daily. I have the Basic workout plus which is 15 minutes and really work you out. Then I have the Step Away the Inches which is about 20 minutes. When you look at the videos they look simple but it's the way you align your body and position your knees to get a great workout.

Hi Ladies. I've been completely off of track. Although, I've tried to continue exercising throughout the weeks, I've fallen off with my eating habits. It's awful. I'm in the middle of doing a complete kitchen renovation, so we have to eat out ALL the time. I'll get back on track though.

Greetings ladies...
Hope all is going well in the plans everyone has started. I am writing you to inform you.. yes!!!me!!! I!!! have started excercising... can you believe the old woman(HAHHAAA) be quite Edwinda(smile). I figured it is time for me to get on the bandwagon and do the dog-gone thang. Since the past week I have been cleansing myself and doing the supplements I felt that i needed to go ahead and implement excercise. So, I cycled for 10 minutes and done sit up and stretches(before and after). This way, I can ease into excercising and not hate it. So, my months I am looking forward to are May, September and November. November being the biggest because of my birthday. so, if you all don't mind I will be telling you all what I am doing, this way it will hold myself accountable and get the work done. .. well, looking forward to hear from you. chat with you soon.

I'm with you on the 10 in 10. So, we have until May 17 to lose 10 pounds. I wanted to lose 10 more pounds before I had my surgery so this is right up my alley.

My pedometer goal was for each of us to try to walk 5000 steps each day for a week. Let's park further from the entry to the store; take the stairs instead of the elevator; instead of trying to carry as many groceries in as we can, make several trips; take a ten minute walk after your lunch and dinner. Anything to get yourself moving. The steps will add up. Anybody with me?
