Good luck with the CT ! I know just how you feel... I get days when I worry about every little pain or such that I get,,, had a massive scare with nasty back pain a couple of years ago.. thankfully not cancer again. We all get this way, sweetie- praying for you that all will be well- just stay positive emoticon

Feeling like I should be the triumphant patient but have been having moments of darkness and depression about cancer coming back.

Need to keep reading and keep praying for peace of mind.

Have CT scheduled for this coming Friday to see what is going on with my back.

Still digesting.

Also started reading his other book, The Cancer Conqueror.

It is written in a similar tone.

CARPROTH,

What you say concurs with the book.
I finished it yesterday.
Now I need to digest it all.

Thanks for the recommendation. I too am pretty certain that eventually the cancer will return, but am dedicated to not letting it ruin or limit my life now. To me, my cancer was a wake-up call to get out there and live to the fullest extent possible.

I look forward to reading the book and joining the discussion.

I am reading a very powerful book and want to share it: THE TRIUMPHANT PATIENT by Greg Anderson.

While I am more than half way through it (very easy reading), I believe it is exactly what I need right now.

The book stresses the importance of gaining control over our disease, not letting it control us.

I am struggling with fear of relapse, some days very sure relapse will come, and giving up on a lot of things I want to do.

This book addresses all these things and more.

I will be writing here from time to time as I work through the points in the book. I invite any of you to get the book and join in on the discussion.
