I have watched Biggest loser for quite a while, I do get concerned that they lose too much and way to quick. I also watch Live Big w/Ali Vincent, that is an ok show, good tips. I would not want to lose weight in the public eye.

I don't watch any "reality" TV shows - to me they're far from real. Losing weight with a team of professionals babysitting contestants is far from those same contestants losing weight while dealing with stresses, responsibilities, and issues in everyday life. A hairdresser in the salon I frequent was a contestant on the show several years ago and I've talked with her about her experiences. She's kept off most of the weight she dropped then and said the show was valuable in getting her focused on weight loss, but it was later while working on her own that she made the most real and lasting progress.

I have not watch those weight loss reality shows. I have occasionally watched health & wellness on our PBS stations, when I can't sleep during the night...and have used their Tai Chi program after recording it.

I don't think they're realistic, so I don't watch.

I only watched one episode, during the first season or two, and I didn't care for it. Jillian Michaels seemed so bullying that it turned me off. As someone who was bullied in school from kindergarten to my senior year, that is not tactic that would motivate me.

I found enough motivation doing it on my own, through Spark People. I've been maintaining my goal weight for about 7 years now so far.

I am a very shy person and an introvert, so I would not do well on any type of reality show program.

I don't usually watch stuff like that, but I did watch one season of The Biggest Loser because I had read a book by one of the former contestants & wanted to see what it was all about. It was very motivational to watch. I didn't really want to "sit" through the whole program when the contestants were working out 8 hours a day, so I got up & walked in place. I liked it, but I haven't watched any of the newer seasons.

I would have a hard time being in the public eye like that. I tend to be a private person.

Keep smiling!!

Have you ever watched any fitness programs on tv, like Biggest Loser, or any of the others that may be on, I know The Livwell network has Live Big w/Ali Vincent, they explore health and fitness? Share any show you may have watched on this topic and if you liked the show or did not care for it? How would you feel if you were in the public eye on your weight loss journey?
