I eat both chicken and turkey with my sandwiches. I have made the SP Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Stew several times.

grilled chicken with a few drops of lime is heavenly

and roast turkey on the holidays - leftovers make turkey tetrazini and/or sandwiches!

Poultry is my main protein source; I have it every week.

For chicken, I use boneless chicken breasts, usually baked or cooked in the crock pot, though I do like to stir fry occasionally.

I use a lot of ground turkey also; I like the Turkey Store brand and I buy it fresh. I like to make turkey burgers on my indoor grill, and I also use the ground turkey in many different dishes. Once in a while, I will also use turkey tenderloins.

I stock up on both the chicken breasts and ground turkey when they are on sale, I never pay full price for them. Usually with the chicken, I will buy a family pack and freeze it, repackaging them into freezer bags with one or two pieces each in them. For the turkey, I package those up into half pound packages for the freezer.

Poultry has become my primary animal protein source - we eat it at least 3x/week. Probably the most versatile (and my favorite) way to prepare it is grilled. It can be served hot or cold, shredded for salads, sliced for sandwiches, and is ready for a variety of sauces. We both prefer white meat, and a large bag of frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts is a staple in my kitchen.

My high end guess is twice a year - and only if I am invited to dinner at someone's home and they cook it. I have never cooked poultry since I rarely eat meat - and when I do, it's because I'm craving Shepherd's Pie (and I mix extra lean ground beef with TNP) or a hamburger.
