Live in suburban Chicago and today (Monday) the temperature this morning is -14. News is reporting wind chill ranges between the minus 30's to almost minus 50's. I won't be venturing outside my door today. I'm in my 60's and do not remember wind chill ranges like that ever, although I have seen regular temps between -20 and -24 many years ago. Glad I'm retired and don't have to worry about commuting to work this winter.
Cable TV is out but my internet is still working. Good day to settle down with a good book.

I live in central Alabama. We are expecting a severe drop in temps in the next few hours. Rain is coming also. The timing of everything will determine if we get any icy roads.

I live in northwest Louisiana, and believe it or not, we're under a deep freeze warning for tonight! Very rarely does the temp get below 32° here, let alone the 19° we're expecting tonight, with wind chill making it feel like 7°!! I guess I better go digging for my winter gear, that I haven't seen since we moved down here 13 years ago!

We are awaiting the deep freeze. We are already up to -2 today. Schools are cancelled tomorrow already. We are expecting -last I heard- -70 wind chill on Monday. I am in Wisconsin, and we are hunkering down for it.

I am in Ohio and currently it is 32 and light rain. Very slushy because we still have snow on he ground. It is suppose to change to snow this p.m . and temperature will drop below zero. I have done grocery shopping and is making a big pot of vegetable soup to keep me warm.

We had a bit of chilly weather Friday night, but highs are supposed to be in the 80s today, then dip down again near freezing tomorrow night.

I live in Michigan. Currently it's 22°F and cloudy.

We are under a winter weather advisory til 1am Monday, and a wind chill warning starting tomorrow morning which runs through Tuesday afternoon. I plan on staying home, and staying inside, until I need to venture out for my chemo appointment which is at 12:15pm Tuesday.

I won't even be going out for the mail tomorrow; it's in a locked box so it will be ok if I wait. I don't plan to go outdoors at all, unless I need to move my car for the plow.

I'm in Scottsdale, middle of the Sonoran Desert. Our temps have been 70 day and 40 night. The dry desert air doesn't hold as much heat as humid air, so here once the sun goes down, the temp rapidly follows. Differentials of 30-35 degrees in one day are our norm.
