My mom makes the most awesome cranberry relish. It was my grandmother's recipe. We spend the holiday at my mom & dad's house & most of my siblings will stop by with their families at some point in the day.

Keep smiling!!

For me it was always the fish dinner on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, none of my family follows the tradition so I just make something simple for John & me. Now I have to say it is the French meat pie that John's family serves. I don't usually eat meat, but I do enjoy the meat pie on Christmas Day.

I love the dressing and cranberry sauce which we have at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I even freeze the leftovers for later in the year but for some reason I never cook it fresh at any other time. It just wouldn't be the same.

I love fudge; Christmas time is usually the only time I will have it. My favorite kind is peanut butter.

Kay, I love deviled eggs too.

My DH's Italian/ Polish heritage always has assorted fish dishes on Christmas Eve ans I have really enjoyed this new tradition. One year we went all over Hampton Rds VA looking for smelt. Never heard of it but it was good.

What is your favorite food you eat around the Holidays, special family dish, ethnic favorite, a special sweet treat? Where will you be spending the Christmas Holiday if you celebrate? emoticon
