I love dressing and cranberry sauce. I make the dressing and my daughter makes the cranberry sauce. I also love my daughter's homemade pumpkin maple pie and her apple pie.

Anything with pumpkin in it. The 2-ingredient pumpkin muffin recipe at SparkPeople Recipes is awesome!!

This year, I made the bread for Thanksgiving & when I get to mom & dad's, mom will probably have me make the mashed potatoes. Family says mine are the best, so I don't mind.

Keep smiling!!

I'm the third one for whom it's stuffing & cranberry sauce, for sure. I do miss my mom's stuffing & wish I'd paid more attention, but like Carproth, I prefer cornbread based stuffing.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating!

I'm another one with stuffing and cranberry sauce as essentials. I make different varieties of stuffing, but all have a corn bread rather than plain bread base. My cranberry sauce is made with the addition of 2 oz gold rum to the cranberries, sugars, and orange juice as it is boiling - the alcohol cooks off, but leaves a great taste. It's the only cranberry sauce the grandkids will eat.

My favorite dish (es) is the dressing with cranberry sauce. I can skip everything else if I have that.

I really don't have a favorite side dish but I do have a favorite dessert. It is a tradition in my family to have boiled custard at Thanksgiving and at Christmas.

What is your favorite side dish that you enjoy on Thanksgiving? What makes it special? Do you make it, or does someone else? Have you ever made a Spark Recipe for Thanksgiving?
