Fluffy, my younger cat, Katie, is frightened when I do WATP. She stares at me, backing up into the next room. Hehehehe...

shorts & a t-shirt, walking shoes. I work out first thing in the morning because if I don't do it then it won't get done. I know myself well enough by now to know that I will find an excuse not to work out if I don't just get up & do it first thing. I do Walk Away The Pounds dvd's in my living room, with my pups . . . I use a yoga mat on the floor because we have tile floors so it helps reduce the impact on my knees. One of my pups likes to sit on the other end of the mat while I work out, and she knows when I get to the cool down - and comes running over for me to pick her up while I do the cool down portion! Then she sits on one end of the mat while I roll it up, I say she's "helping me"! She really is my workout buddy!

emoticon emoticon Ladies!!!

I do my workouts usually in the evening at home wearing shorts and a tank top.

When I am able to get to the health club/gym, I go around 1-3 pm. I wear yoga pants and t-shirt there.

My dress is usually gym pants & a t-shirt; sweatshirt if it is cool.

I exercise outdoors when I can, otherwise I WATP indoors, which is what I do mostly during busy Hope Bus season. I do both walking in place and strength exercises. Walking is morning; strength is usually evening if I'm not too tired.

I also try to fit in strength training during the day, ladies' room visits, the Hope Bus when alone, etc.

I go the gym. Normally it's capri sweat pants and a t-shirt or tank top. Tue and Wed I go after work, Friday I go before work, and on Saturdays I go in the morning.

One stumble does not a failure make.

Everything in moderation.

I usually exercise in the early morning. If I wait until later in the day, I tend to come up with an excuse not to exercise at all. I usually wear capri-length yoga pants and a loose T-shirt but really it is just a matter of whatever is clean. On Saturday, I walk four miles outdoors so then I dress for the weather.

My current schedule includes three sessions of cardio and strength training at the gym, one of which is with a trainer; two water aerobics classes of an hour each; and the Saturday morning walk. I also wear a fitbit to track my steps.

To put this in perspective, three and a half years ago, when I came out of rehab, I could barely walk to the bathroom.

I walk a mile whenever I can, wearing whatever I already have on. The dogs appreciate me being clothed on our walks in the woods.

Yoga pants and top. I prefer mornings because I have fibro and that's when I take my meds and have to wait for them to "kick in". I do strength training off & on the rest of the day with...are you ready for it?...a thigh master which is great for the arms. lol

I usually wear capri length yoga pants, a sports bra, and wick-away tank or tee (I sweat a LOT during exercise) and either my Keen sandals or athletic shoes. I try to make it to the gym several times/week - tai chi and yoga classes, indoor track, machines and free weights. I have a recumbent stationary bike at home which I got as part of rehab for my two knee replacements and that's my daily go-to cardio - try to get in 45 -60 min every night. I also have an adorable hot pink beach cruiser which I take on our multiple-use trails (alternate that with walking). At least once/month I try to get out for a 4-5 mile hike on one of our two dozen mountain preserve trails. Outdoor exercise and gym are usually in the morning (one of the perks of retirement) while stationary bike is after dinner helping curb nighttime munchies.

What is your typical workout attire? Do you exercise at home, outdoors or at a club, or combination of these? What time of day do you usually do your routine?
