Like most of us, I don't eat what I don't like since the nutrients are available in other ways. The one thing I have come to like is grilled salmon, but not farmed.

I won't eat anything I don't like. I don't care how good they are for me. I've tried to like some foods like salmon. I have cooked it many ways and I still don't like the taste so I don't eat it. I cook it for my family and then I usually cook a white fish for me. I've always like the foods I eat now, but I've learned to enjoy them more now than I used to.

I agree with Fluffy! There are too many healthy things out there that are really good to waste my time on things I don't like. I am willing to try new things a couple of times to give them a chance and I will cook them in a couple of different recipes to see if it makes a difference before I decide.

I am now REALLY into eating fresh salmon for some reason. I eat it several times a week. That is a new habit. The asparagus is new for me also. I never knew how easy it was to prepare. Lentils are new on my menu although I have always cooked a lot of dried beans. Qunoia and edamame in restaurants. I am definitely developing a more varied taste in food.

One day at a time; one pound at a time.

I like to eat too much to waste my calories on things I don't like the taste of, no matter how good it's supposed to be for me!

That being said, I have discovered some things that I used to not like that I now find enjoyable to eat - Asparagus, for one. I only like it broiled, though, with a little garlic, olive oil & Parmesan cheese on it.

There isn't too much that I don't like although I don't care for lamb or any kind of liver. Those flavors have never grown on me. There's still plenty of healthy food out there for me since I don't like those two things.

Keep smiling!!

If I don't like something, I won't eat it, even if it's good for me. There are so many good nutritious foods out there I am fairly certain I can find enough to suit my needs.

Just as there are no "forbidden" foods, I don't feel there are any "mandatory" ones either. There are so many available anti-oxidant/ mineral dense/ fiber loaded/heart protecting/etc foods that eating one I don't enjoy seems totally unnecessary. I've always enjoyed fruits and vegetables, but find myself now more tolerant of hot, spicy seasonings than before. Part of the new interest may be my herb garden where I also grow a variety of peppers I use in many of my oriental and Mexican dishes.

The only thing I can think of right now, that I used to hate, and now can't get enough of, is avocados! Wasn't real crazy about yogurt either, but now have Greek yogurt 4 or 5 times a week....

What healthy foods do not taste so good to you, but you eat them anyway because they are beneficial to you? have any foods grew on you over time, maybe you used to dislike them and now they are a regular part of your diet?
