I eat fruit, but I do indulge in chocolate. Depending on how well I'm doing, I may have a cookie or some ice cream. Everything in moderation.

I don't snack very often. When I'm on the Hope Bus, because many times I don't have time to have a lunch, I will snack. We usually have the 100 calorie packs of snacks on-board. At home it varies with the season. In spring/summer/fall I try to have cherries, berries, or melon in case I have a snack attack - and for me that's usually when I wake during the night for a bathroom run at about 2 or 3 AM. In winter I usually have pistachios, cashews, or filberts (hazelnuts) around. My unhealthy snack is usually a bag of M&Ms.

If I could trust myself, it would be ice cream. I have learned not to have it in the house - because I won't eat a real meal until it is gone - seriously. I would eat it for b-fast, lunch & dinner. Sometimes I forget...and buy it...and oops...

I like raw almonds for a snack along with some low fat string cheese. I also found some great snack protein bars that also have a good amount of fiber & only 100 calories. I generally have 2 snacks per day & try to keep them around 100 or 125 calories each.

Keep smiling!!

I love nuts, but they pack quite a whollop as far as calories & fat so I don't indulge in them often (also once I get started it's hard to stop at one serving!). I try to eat some type of fruit or veggie for snacks, usually one mid-morning and sometimes one mid-afternoon. One of my favorite veggie snacks is sugar snap peas. Love them!

If I've had a good day & have come in at the low end or below my calorie allotment for the day, I like to have either a serving of potato chips or a small bowl of ice cream. But I don't generally keep ice cream in the house anymore.

I've always loved popcorn, so my normal go-to afternoon snack is a mini bag 100 calorie micro popcorn. I used to have mine literally dripping with butter, now give the popcorn a quick squirt of butter cooking spray after popping instead - lots of munching for relatively few calories.

Evening snack is sweet and cold, so either have a Healthy Choice fudge bar (100 cal) or frozen pomegranate fruit bar (90 cal). The grandkids love these, so stocking up is a win-win for all of us.
