I use my digital food scale every day. It was a gift from hubby for Christmas.

We have a grill pan that we use often on the stove when it's too yucky outside to use the gas grill.

We use the microwave a lot to steam veggies.

Keep smiling!!

microwave - we eat out too much, and I always bring at least half my meal home for the next day, plus I use it when I decide too late what I'm fixing for dinner, and have to thaw something out.

slow cooker- it's nice to use year round. Winter it just smells so good to come in the house and smell dinner almost ready, and in summer, it doesn't heat up the kitchen like the oven.

cast iron fry pans...love em. nuff said.....

Love the answers...but can't help thinking why I didn't think of my coffeemaker - It's the one appliance I use everyday...Wonder if it's feeling like an old shoe?

I have a counter top oven with the infrared, turbo thing (I can't think of its name) and I use it for grilling and baking, plus I use the mircrowave and my crock pot. Between those three, I can cook anything.

One day at a time; one pound at a time.

1.Small skillet that I use for daily omelets on my current diet.
2. Microwave
3. Keurig coffee maker-No longer do instant. I am only coffee drinker in house, so I like the single serve portions.

Well, the top of the list is . . . my dishwasher!!! I hate washing dishes, and the dishwasher makes it just a little less miserable of a task!!

I would have to say next would be my rice cooker, and our grill. I don't use either of these everyday but I do love to use them. I especially like using the grill because that means hubby does the cooking emoticon . We bought a new one last year, we have a hookup to our house gas line, so it makes it nice not to have to mess with getting propane tanks in order to grill. As long as we pay the gas bill, we can grill!

My cooktop & double oven are the originals from when our house was built in 1967 so no, as much as I use them, they are NOT my favorite appliances! They do the job, that's about it! (I do, however, like having the double oven for when we have company or holiday cooking).

1. microwave - probably the most used item in my kitchen (after the fridge)

2. gas grill - we live in the desert where we get 100 days of 100 degrees each year - it's essential when wanting a hot meal during the summer

3. coffee maker - only have 1 (very large) cup per day, but have it programmed to be aromatically waiting for me when I come down each morning

What are your top 3 favorite kitchen appliances or cookware items? Which do you use most often, why is it so essential?

1. My griddle, and it is the one I use most often. I use it to cook, toast, and warming pizza on it restores the crispness to the crust on leftover pizza.

2. My stove, for obvious reasons, to cook but I still use it for heating leftovers. Prefer it to microwave.

3. My cast iron frying pan, that belonged to my mom and her mom before that. Everything tastes better than it the non-stick pans.
