The most I have ever weighed that I know of is 253. I started weighing with SparkPeople at 250. I have been struggling with weight loss ever since I began Tamoxifen. I was down 14 lbs. since last Sept. but I have gained again and I am down 10 lbs. I am hoping this snow shoveling will help me knock it back down. I am done with Tamoxifen in June. I am ready.

got up to 195 over 10 years again, then lost 60 pounds, gained, lost again.

I started spark People at 148 pounds and got down to an unhealthy 119 when very sick on chemo. I am now at 155, needing to lose 20 lbs again. emoticon

I had never been overweight in my life until the cancer when my weight ballooned to 260 and then dripped to 170. It had nothing to do with my diet but my body bloated up like a balloon while I was so ill. This all happened within a space of a few months. While I was hospitalized for months, the doctors were afraid I was losing weight too quickly and put me on medication to make me gain. It worked so well, I gained too much. Now, since I have been home, I have struggled to lose the same 20 pounds over and over. I can get down to 200 with months of struggle and then gain it back in a few days.

One day at a time; one pound at a time.

This is a tough one.... My highest weight was 235, and I'm only 5'4, so I was a chunky monkey... I've lost just over the 35 lbs., keep bouncing back and forth between 2 numbers. I would love to lose another 50, but at this point, anything to get me off this plateau will be great. Knees are terrible, so a lot of walking and many exercises are out right now. Have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, and am hoping I can get the shots again. I'm getting a good 6 months out the the shots, but if I have to do more, I'll think about it....

My all-time highest weight was 211. With the help of my doctor, I lost 14 pounds. So when I got to SparkPeople, I weighed 197 & have lost 19 pounds since joining in June 2012 (current weight 178). I have 38 pounds to go to reach my goal of 140, which is what I weighed when I got married almost 19 years ago.

Keep smiling!!

170. I lost 10 pounds, then got stuck until I found Sparkpeople. I was down to 120, then grad school meant I wasn't hitting the gym as often. I'm around 128 now, which I think is still a healthy weight.

My highest weight ever was 204 and I'm 5'4"-but the doctor's scale said 210.
I lost 37 pounds last year, but have gained back 7.
My best weight ever was 125, but that was in college, and I had no car, and walked everywhere all day long. I need to lose at least another 30 pounds.

Highest weight ever was in 2006 before starting SP - 198 lbs (I'm 5'9", but it's still way too much). That was with 2 severly deteriorating knees and an orthopedist who kept prescribing higher doses of narcotics and signed for a handicapped sticker. I changed doctors, had the first of 2 total knee replacements, became a Sparker, and lost 68 pounds in 2 years.

Kept it off 'til 2010 and my bc diagnosis and treatment. Two years of hormone inhibiting drugs led to bone and muscle pain, reduced exercise, spinal bone spurs, insomnia, bruises that gave me the appearance of perpetual abuse, and a 30 lb weight gain.

Am now off all prescription meds and have lost 5 of those regained pounds. Sciatica from the bone spurs is kept somewhat under control with periodic steroid injections - not a help in the attempt to drop the other 25 lbs, but I'm still working on it.

Ugh, this is a tough one to admit to!

Highest weight - 254 lbs in 1996 (that's a lot for any woman, but keep in mind I am 5'10"!)
Most weight lost at SP - 55 lbs in 2007-2008.

I kept it off of a couple of years but in 2010 I started putting the weight back on a little at a time, then 2011-2012 I packed on the lbs until I was up to 233 lbs by the time I came back to SP in Feb this year.

I'm at 221 lbs right now. My goal is 160 lbs. So I have 61 lbs to go. Planning to reach it by the end of November.

emoticon whew! that was hard! glad it's over!
