I haven't had a romantic dinner in years.

LadyMarcia, I also like Sweet Tomatoes. I ate there Monday and had salad and a bowl of their chili.

One day at a time; one pound at a time.

Sometimes John surprises me and we go out on Valentine's Day...mostly we just send cards...paper not e-cards. Our favorite restaurant is the Country Inn, about 4 miles from home...great food - Italian & American dishes - at really great prices.

Any Rock Hudson/Doris Day will do for me...and "Gone with the Wind" for the Melanie story line!

I could watch Pride and Prejudice every day and not get tired of seeing it. And I love the silly Hallmark movies. Especially the sappy ones that make me cry.
I don't eat out much but I love Sweet Tomatoes. Not at all romantic but I usually go there with my daughter and her 2 little ones and it just plane makes me happy.

Hope everyone has some beautiful blue ski this week. It's breathtaking here in Northern CA today. Have a great week everyone! emoticon

I'm with Ivylass, we also have little Italian place nearby that we love, not sure if we're going out for Valentines Day or staying home, we'll be in Tampa this weekend for a 3 day volleyball tournament, so a nice home cooked meal on Thursday sounds like the way to go!

Romantic movie? Last Holiday, The Proposal are 2 of my favorites.

We usually will go to Olive Garden for the soup, salad, breadsticks. I'm not a fan of romantic movies. I prefer comedies. I guess the most romantic movie I have seen would be "Grease".

We saw Lincoln and Les Mis over Christmas. We enjoyed them both. My DH and I like different types of movies so we have to decide who will be happy with the choice.

We enjoy going to Firebirds, and if we can be seated near the fireplace when it's lit, even better. Nice glass of wine, and a good meal.

Tomorrow we are going to Red Lobster as we are celebrating a family birthday. We always go out to dinner, someplace a little upscale from Mickey Dee's or Arbys (LOL) when we're doing a birthday dinner.

I like romantic comedy's or musicals, but DH doesn't. We've been to two movies this month (a record because he really doesn't like to go out to the movies!), saw "Lincoln" and "Les Mis" That was awesome..

My husband doesn't like chick flicks, so romance movies are out. We have a little Italian place around the corner, mom and pop owned, that serves up a good meal.

I have a lot of places I like to go but Acoustic Cafe is one of my favorite lunch places. For Romantic dinners we like Red Lobster/Olive garden or a Mexican place called Azul Tequilla. Any of those places have been very enjoyable for an evening out.

As for movies I am a chick flick kind of girl. A good Romantic Comedy is right up my alley.

We won't be going out for Valentine's Day because of the crowds. I will cook something yummy and healthy at home using good china and some candles. I invited another couple to join us. I am waiting to hear back from them. I am looking forward to that.

Weekend question emoticon not weekly, doesn't matter anyway.

A great lunch spot for me and a friend would be Panera bread or Chipotle for burritos.

also Noodles is a good lunch place.

Romantic dinner would be nice at PF Changs or a nice Greek or Italian rest. w/ a bottle of red wine.

romantic movie? Shakespeare in Love, Titanic, Pretty Woman
