I hope you're feeling better now BRAVEONE.

Christmas was rather uneventful for us. Christmas Eve we go to church followed by dinner. We then open a few presents and finish the evening watching "Christmas Vacation". Christmas Day we open Santa presents and I make a big dinner. This yr. my mom and brother came which was nice. We then just lounge around the rest of the day.

Becky

I did baking and cooking a week before Christmas Eve. My youngest DD
did the other half. All our family meets at her house every year now.

I was so happy that my Dear Mom who is 93 and is in the nursing home,
was able to be with us one more time. It made all of us so happy. We
had lots of great food, guitar, vocal songs by one of my grandson's and
my oldest grandson's wife played lots of wonderful songs on her Cello.
She is pregnant with their first baby, my second great grand baby. She
is only about 16 weeks. So very much to make for happiness! We took
all kinds of pictures, even set the tripod up and got a group picture of
all of us. I look forward to getting my copy of it.

Christmas day, I felt really bad with a sinus infection. I stayed home all
day and did nothing.

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth."

Christmas eve I'll probably still be wrapping gifts, as I have none done yet..LOL Then Midnight Mass.

Christmas morning, will be lonely and boring. No gifts, no kids, no nothing. Probably will sleep in.

Supposed to go to DD's for dinner, so that will be nice, and DGS will of course have to show me what Santa brought.

Thursday the troops arrive, DS, DIL and 8 GKS. Saturday afternoon DD, SIL and 2 GKS will pile in, and if mom is feeling OK, she'll come up too. We'll have dinner about 5 or 5:30 and then it will be bedlam around here. And I'll love every minute of it....

Not doing the baking like I used to do, but did 4 kinds of cookies and hope to do at least one more, and maybe some fudge. If not, I'm sure nobody will miss it....

Everyone have a Merry Christmas!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

We go to my parent's house for Christmas. Most of us will be there for Christmas dinner, but a couple of my siblings will just stop by as they have huge families.

I'm ready for Christmas. I only shop for my hubby these days. We don't have kids, so we get them nice gifts for their birthdays & just spend time together at Christmas. So, shopping has been done for awhile.

I am making peanut butter fudge (sparkrecipe) & a sugar free trifle.

Since it's just hubby & me here at the house, we don't wrap our gifts. We just keep them in the boxes.

What are your plans for Christmas this year? Are you ready, shopping done? Do have any baking or recipes to make? Have you wrapped your gifts?

Keep smiling!!

We'll do Christmas tomorrow with the immediate family and have Chinese food for dinner. Christmas Day we're heading over to my dad's for the extended family Christmas.
