just wanted to say....I am not giving up my quest to lose 50 by 50 but I am going to drop out of this team. I am involved in too many teams and just cant keep up with them all. going to "slim" down my teams so I can slim down myself with less computer time..lol.

anyway, you go for the 50! you can do it.

I now have 50 weeks till I am 50 so I am taking up the 50 by 50 challenge, or starting one. It sounds so easy just one pound a week. I am going to count down so hopefully next week will be 49 by 50!

so definitely feeling ready for this!

I am starting Phase 1:
Nov 6-Dec 31st

Wt loss goal: 12 pounds
Eating goals: Journal all that I eat.
Veggies: at least 2 a day
Limit sweets to every OTHER day
Water 6 cups/Tea 1-3 cups daily
Exer goals: Gym 3 times a week
Walk 12-15 miles a week (winter)
Yoga 3-5 times a week (just starting)
Do at least 10 minutes of some type of exercise daily.

11/20/11 checking in: so not doing so great at this pt. no weight loss to report. I am journaling the majority of the time (at least 5-6 days weekly) eating my veggies and drinking water/tea. Sweets are tough...that is all I am going to say!. Exercise: am going to the gym 3 -4 times a week. miles are down...will have to start doing some leslie indoors. Haven't started yoga yet...but will make an effort this week. and as for the 10 min daily...well last week sun mon and tue I did absolutely nothing.

so I have some things i need to work on.


Decenber 2nd: so I definitely need to get moving with this challenge. Just havent; been very consistent with any of these goals...except my veggies. I have gotten at least 2 veggie servings in almost all days since this challenge started. No weight loss yet and even getting 10 minutes down some days just seems to be tooooo much! overall, I havent been keeping tabs on this and that is part of the reason that I tend to slip up.

going to try harder to check back in at least every 3 days.

okay so I have a little over 9 months til my 50 bd. can I lose 50 by then? it is definitely doable...5-6 pounds a month is reasonable.

so going to make this a goal.

50 pounds gone by aug 10 2012

Hi everyone! I thought I would stop in and see if there is anything going on.

I am still happily involved with SparkPeople, eating clean, and working out 5-6 days a week!

I feel so happy and healthy, even if I haven't lost a significant amount of weight yet.

Your goals, minus your doubts, equal your reality.
