This is a Great morning . We are proud Grandparents again Baby Maxwell was born around 5 AM this morning ! weighs 6lb 14 oz and is beautiful.

We got a text from Andy around 11;45 saying Sarah had a headache all day and her BP was way up so they called the nurse and she said go in to get evaluated well BP was higher so decided to do the C section everything went fast after that and he arrived . He looks big compared to Liliya she was only 5 lb 2 oz so a big difference .

the kids asked or said said no pic on media and I totally agree so I am not even saying anything on Facebook just here to you all

Good Morning!

Eileen - I agree with Judy. I was hoping to find a campground close during the week to be able to open up the slides in the MH to give it a thorough cleaning. We live too close to Lake Michigan. All the parks are booked even during the week. We can bring the MH up to the house but can’t open the slides, grr! So, we will keep checking.

Today is another hot day. I took Nala for her walk earlier. I worry about her little paws on the hot pavement.

I took a steak out of the freezer for lunch. I bought the new Whatever Pan that has been an ad on FB. I bought it cheaper through Amazon. This will be the first steak I am making so I am excited. I have liked it so far.

I read Jude's post on FB about not finding campgrounds so have worked on that all afternoon. Stopped to make dinner and Roger took over. Still don't have any overnight stopped scheduled as I am not sure of our final route. Really difficult to do as we have never had to reserve ahead.

I have just been trying to upload some RV apps to the computer for a larger screen than a phone and it wont happen for some reason. Oh the whoos' of the internet!!

Nice day in the upper 80's Broke the record and also broke the streak Tomorrow back into the 90's but dew points will be down form Tropical to comfortable.

My goodness! I have gone back through my first blogs from August 2010 to midDecember 2010 and I lost 40 pounds in that time frame...It started out really fast at first, and then slowed down, but geeeeeeeeeeeee.....I am also reminiscing about Sparkfriendships and hope to get through all the blogs by August...

It's hot, hot, hot here and I have been somewhat productive in the house. I even spent a few minutes on the inside bike Joe bought. I thought it was an elliptical, but it's not.

Sharon, I like the lavender pillow! I agree, itís too much to be on all of the different sites. Slowly Iím working on figuring out MFP. The Premium subscription comes with individual Help so Iím asking questions every couple of days, donít want to be a pest, lol. Today I think I can find Blogs if privacy settings are open to Friends. There is a ďsubscribeĒ button on your blogs but it doesnít work on my Ipad ó will try laptop later.

Eileen, the Biggest Loser Challenge, around 300 people in 12 teams, and the 5% Challenge group, another 200 or so, are testing MFP to see how it could work to continue those groups. Very determined and clever bunch ó Iím hoping for a ďMFP For DummiesĒ tutorial. emoticon

Warmer here today, and for the rest of the week, but I donít think 90ís projected yet. I slept late so missed a cool morning to bike outside, setting the alarm for tomorrow. After I catch up online, I need to clean house, yuck, and do something with a head of cauliflower we got in our farm box. Pete wonít eat it, so I usually make soup and freeze most of it. Heading over to check recipesÖ.

Good morning !

Thank you for the information. I have changed some privacy settings in mfp until i get the hang of it. Logged yesterdays food and have to remember to check mark upper right corner. Entered the same food 3 times lol ! I do not like being told i am over my calories since i am not tracking them at present... Lol ! Over on sat fats and i wonder if the low carb part of paid program states the same thing ? Kind of nice some of kristies recipes are logged by some one.

Need to get out and walk before it gets too much hotter.

Morning Old and Valued Friends!
I got a full 8 1/2 hrs sleep last night. I think my new pillow is helping with the Lavender aroma. I know it is helping my neck feel better.

This afternoon we are going to my nephew's Graduation Open House. It should be fun as we will get to see a lot of family that we haven't seen since this whole Covid thing started.

Our heat spell broke during the night and it is 69 degrees right now! It feels so good because the humidity is also down!

Once I looked at Cronometer, It's not for me so I am closing that account. I did join MFP and will work around in there. Not going to start tracking there for the moment I did find out they support the Garmin after chatting on the Garmin team. Most of them have gone there too. So right now I am on FB, SP and MFP. Can't keep up (LOL) I may have to ask questions in the future once I get up and going. Sharon, I did send a request for the group when I found the group. So many of them.

Went to the Waconia Golf Course to have dinner with Aaron's. He has been outdoors all week and was exhausted due to the heat. He did share that he's working in an area of multiple shootings. I pray for him all the time that he don't get shot. SOOOOO many killings. Today he said his worksite was a block from another shooting and an hour after leaving his work site yesterday, there was another shooting right there. It certainly scares me to have him working in the bad part of town! He doesn't have the best team either. Sounds like at least 1 is going to be sent on his way for drinking and racist remarks.

TC, the free part of that program really has nothing to offer. I agree, I won't spend the money for it. I want to be with a program that helps me and having good friends makes all the difference in the world.

Marianne, we broke the record today and just barely. Hit 91. Suppose to cool a little now. I am now on MFP but not active as of yet. Too much to work through. Trying to help my teams out as well. So far I haven't heard anything from my MN team about setting up a group so not sure if I am going to as of yet.

Gail, I seem to recall one time we were at Branson Landing when it was so hot. We even had our dog there. Went back to the camper early as I too didn't feel to great sitting in the heat waiting for others. As far as SDC, we wouldn't use a pass hardly at all. We just don't go that often but do enjoy the shows they put on. Really enjoyed the Stampede a couple yrs. ago on the main drag. The other thing we try to go to every visit is Sight and Sound. Love the shows there and I hear there is a new one now.

Good Evening!
It is confusing to try to keep up on SP, MFP and Facebook! Everyday I am getting more comfortable using MFP. Although they are overloaded at times which I am assuming it’s from all the SparkPeople joining and setting everything up.

Marianne - I believe we are now up to 5 in our RV team in MFP. I sent invites to all that I know are on MFP. If you did not get an invitation no problem. Just find us under groups and ask to join. I must accept you before you can post though.

TC - all the notifications are annoying but I have turned them off. I hope you can figure it out for you.

Well we tried to go to Branson Landing again today and walk the other side but I wasnít feeling well so we came back to the camper. I think the heat was too much. Iím doing ok now. We did stop for more fruit and I picked up some puzzle books. I like the search word books. They keep me busy.

Eileen, sorry to hear about the water woes of your town and surrounding towns. Will pray for rain for your area.

TC, I think we paid about $150 for the two of us for the SDC tickets. We feel we got our moneyís worth. We canít even remember how many times weíve been so it must have been quite a bit. There has to be a way to turn off notifications in MFP but I couldnít tell you as Iím still exploring.

I did find the RV group on MFP and sent a request. No rush on accepting as being on SP,FB and trying to learn MFP can be overwhelming.

One suggestion, those on MFP who want to join the RV group Sharon set up should first become friends with her, and then send a message asking to join the team if you didnít get the invite she sent. MFP is experiencing a lot of traffic, and I know the app is not bug-free. I do better by logging in on the website.

Not sure why ďfriendsĒ canít see my blog. Iím still checking out features. If you click on a ďfriendĒ you can see their Profile. TC, I posted a suggestion to reduce MFP notifications over on the Accountability thread. Iíve been reading a lot of the Help articles in the last few days, LOL.

Sharon, just you and me so far on the MFP team. emoticon

This morning a couple of Spark features wouldnít work for me, Iím concerned that SP may experience more and more issues before Aug 17 as the site winds down.

Eileen, so sorry about your heat wave ó conversely, itís colder here. There are several reasons why Iím going with MyFitnessPal, including ease of tracking food and exercise. The food diary features work well. Very important to me, it is available to people around the world, instead of just USA, and you can set up private groups to chat. FB is good for chatting, but Iím used to logging meals and exercise daily, reading research, and chatting with team friends, all in one place. Creature of habit. emoticon
We got rid of our 5 speed bikes two years ago because Pete thought we should get 3 wheel trikes. That never happened, and this bike is perfect for me. Time will tell if Pete decides to get a bike or trike to ride along, lol.

Gail, we have friends going to Branson in July. They have young kids and Silver Dollar City is one of the major draws for them.

WG, Iím going to see a couple of grandkids next week; it seems almost normal around here although we went out to breakfast and the servers wore masks, along with reduced seating but since it wasnít busy, it was fine.

We had one car serviced on Wednesday, took the other in this morning, and the RV appt is at the end of this month. Going into summer travel I really want all vehicles checked out, fewer surprises I hope.

Good morning team,

Marianne, it is a shame SP recipes can not be saved easier. I did not find your blog either on mfp. I just went i to mfp and found where to set up privacy stuff. I do not know if i am just upset with the sp changes yet but i am fi ding FB anf MFP annoying with the notifications. Lol !!!if i stay there, i may change it back but for now, i need to center myself.

Tammy, oh what a shame to have to sell your fiver but i get it. Prayers for DD that she heals fast and does spiral into worse depression.

Gail, i am guessing silverdollar will be more expensive in a few years but hopefully it will be worth it to you.

WG, sorry i started the 31 grands thing... Lol ! Glad you clarified. Snow whites concert sounds lovely and how fun to see DS vacation pics. I love reading outside and am currently trying to catch up on 2018 on RV magazines... LOL !

Sharon, looks like MFP is keeping you very busy. Clarifying, is the group there private ?

Eileen, that is too expensive for me, cronometer. Wow ! MFP does have garmin on the trackers/ app page and it was easy to add my fitbit but i do not see it on my page yet as activity minutes. It is hot humid and more rain in for cast today but had a lovely fire last night.

I only went outdoors to water my patio plants. Roger took Daisy out a couple times and watered his grass and the tomatoes. It hit 101 here today and we are now in the extremely dry area with lack of rain. There are 2 towns attached to our town and both had watering bans placed today. Out town said not yet but maybe in the near future. We will go to the odd, even method and no watering the afternoon hours.
tomorrow will be cooler at 90 and will give us 9 days in a row of 90's and above.

TC, I haven't signed into coronometer yet and I think later tonight I will just to see all that it has. (I just took some time to look into this and not sure I will stay. Seems confusing and it talked about Apple tracking but didn't ever see where I could try to activate my Garmin.
The welcome screen shows lots of tracking with foods which looks to be on the page to open. But as I look, you add you own foods with a search. The Gold Coronometer looks like it might be user friendly but cost $40/mo. I won't do that.

Brenda, it is a bit overwhelming to try to get everything you wish to save more to your computer and then chat time with the private FB groups etc.etc. IT may be a little while before everyone gets settled in somewhere. The bad thing is not all our friends are looking at the same ways to keep in contact. That is what is overwhelming me the most.

Marianne, nice bike and I am glad you are out and riding. We sold our bikes as my balance isn't good enough to ride. I am going to be looking at my blogs tomorrow to find the ones I want to keep. I agree on the points. Sure are coming to me easier this week. Wonder why???
I am willing to look at MFP with everyone if I can track.

Tammy, sorry to hear about DD. She has had a really tough time for too long. I would be at my wits end too. I hope Joe can keep his back from getting too stiff. IT makes it so hard for him.

Gail, I haven't been to Silver Dollar City for many yrs. IT's fun to walk around but I usually didn't find anything I wanted to have. We did enjoy the show there in the evening. With all our visits to Branson, I don't think either of us miss SDC.

WG, it sounds like you have been extra busy with the grands! 31 is quite the number! Rain is certainly staying away from us. Several areas close in have had mini down bursts with damage and rain you couldn't drive through.

Got to finish up. I did sigh on to MFP as it supports Garmin. Didn't take time to look at groups etc. but it seems more user friendly than cronometer.

Hey Sharon. I found the group on MFP and sent a message. No hurry. I think ole MFP is a bit overwhelmed with all the SP'rs migrating over.

I tried to update my info but got an error message so will try again later this evening. Maybe it won't be so busy.

We had Community Coffee this morning and then home to pay bills. I am just getting on SP.

Marianne - I have set up a Private Group in MFP for this team. I invited you to join. I am in a little over my head so I will wait until you respond. If everything works, I will invite the rest of you ladies that are on MFP.

It is so hot out here today, I walked up to the clubhouse and home today and it was 2500 steps. I am not going out again so I am going to do a WATP's in the comfort of my a/c'd home!

Tammy - two of our best friends sold their RV's when they came home this spring. I can't even imagine how that feels. We are definitely not ready yet but I know the day is coming.
I posted a picture of the knee crutches in the 50+ team. Perhaps that would work for your DD. They also have knee walkers but they require you to use your hands. I just hope your DD can get back to work.

Gail - Silver Dollar City sounds fun. I didn't know they had Seasonal Tickets but we could never take advantage of them so perhaps I never looked. A day now and then confined to the RV never bothers me. It's when I have to stay in for several days at a time (and it happens) that bothers me!

Marianne - I didn't see your blog on MFP but you can bet I will go look. I did set up a Private Group for our RV team and I'm using you as my tester to see if you got the invite and whether I have to accept or decline you. Once I figure it out, I will invite other from this team that are on MFP.
PS - Don't you look all cute in your new helmet!

TC - you be careful with what you are doing out in the heat and humidity! I would not be out walking let alone working in our heat. Even Norm came in from the shop in our garage and is sitting watching TV in a/c.

Hi Campers. It is beautiful with a forecast high of 69 degrees. It is wonderful after last week and will be again by the weekend. The Jedi is here and has taken the dog for a walk. He has come a long way from being afraid of animals to wanting to interact with this one.

Tammy, I'm sorry you are at the point that you won't be using your 5th wheel as much as you want. It is hard when changes are less forward. I'm sure Joe feels bad about not being able to do things. The picture of your dog on FB yesterday was fun. I had to smile at your crazy critter.

It's too bad we aren't closer. DD is looking for one and has had a hard time finding something she can use. They are in good demand and this is the time to sell if you want a good return on your money.

Eileen, it's too bad you are missing the water. It is hard to have good plants without a bit of water. Gotta hope the water will hit you soon. Strange when it doesn't.

Brenda, I've been thinking about giving my goodies away as well. It won't make a huge difference but will be fun to get done.

Marianne, love your new bike and your helmet. I'll bet your knee bothered you but it will get better as you get used to using the muscles.

TC, you sound so relaxed. I'm glad you are getting rested and renewed. Do you read when you are camping?

DS stopped by and shared pictures and stories about his vacation to Florida. His wife and kids left for Missouri Tuesday. She likes to take long vacations with her family and he works so he sometimes goes somewhere else instead. I guess they agree to it so it isn't my business. He also needed to do some laundry as he is without a washer right now.

Today is Snow White's concert again. This one is outdoors. She is a ham and fun to watch. I think her sister and father are coming to this one. It will be fun to see them.

Have a great day.

Today we went to Silver Dollar City for the last time. We have season tickets and they expire on Sunday. Since we donít really do much while we are there, except ride the train, we will not renew. Weíll wait a couple of years and get season tickets again. We do go into some of the shops and in the cooler months weíd sit a listen to some music. And I had to get a turnover from the bakery before I left. We got there as soon as they opened and there were already a lot of people there but once we got inside, people spread out quite a bit. Because itís blazing hot, weíll spend the rest of the day in the camper. I baked brownies so it smells wonderful in here.

Marianne, I spent quite a bit of time on MFP yesterday too. I havenít signed on yet today but will when Iím done here. Iíll look for your blog. Thatís a good idea so spend points on goodies. I think Iíll do that too. Helmut looks good and I like the bike. We have bikes but sadly we havenít used them yet this year.

TC, wow, washing and waxing in the heat, youíre a stronger woman then I am. Besides, Bruce does that but tries to get it done in the morning part of the day. I have crocks but only wear them around the camper or the house. I donít wear them all day long.

Eileen, sorry your area is so dry.

WG, wow, 31 grandies! Thatís quite a gathering. Congrats on the next one being a girl.

Yep, I got ya PJ.

Hi, friends...

I'm not sure what I am going to do re SP shutting down, but I did join SS's FB page that she set up. Thanks, SS!

I had DD to UC this morning after she fell at work yesterday. It seems she has a severely sprained ankle. She couldn't manage the crutches, so she is off work until Monday. She was so upset, one thing after another.

We are in the talking stages of getting rid of our fifth wheel. The ever-increasing stiffness in Joe's back is the reason...we've had good times.

Hello to all...

TC, after much frustration trying to copy SP recipe to MFP, one of my friends sent this:

ďI spent a chunk of time on MFP yesterday .... and one thing that is going to take some work is recreating my recipes from SparkRecipes. MFP has a way to copy a URL for a recipe into MFPís recipe creator and Presto! The recipe migrates over. Unfortunately, while it worked like a charm for an AllRecipes URL, it was a complete failure with a SparkRecipes URL. The program just canít recognize where the ingredients are - one time it copied the nutritional values (fat, protein, carbs) as if they were ingredients - another time, it was the instructions.

So for all of us who have used SparkRecipes in the past - and then added them to your nutritional tracker, you are going to have to manually recreate the recipes. Another option (the easier one) is to simply do a ďcreate foodĒ and copy the nutritional values without the recipes. At least then you can add the item to your tracker.Ē

She has helpful suggestions, Iíll be trying them today. One of the things I donít know is how having a Premium subscription to MFP affects any of the features. I wrote a Blog on MFP yesterday, hope I have it set so ďFriendsĒ can see it, so would appreciate it if someone would check and let me know. emoticon

Good morning !

Repeat from accountability thread: I finished washing waxing the rest of my RV yesterday. The heat and exercising in the heat finally caught up with me and i crashed after dinner. Got 7k in steps in. No energy for a fire. My brother arrives today. I am enjoying some coffee while i catch up here. Organized my stuff in outside compartments so i can find things easier now. The old guy camping behind me is hooking up to leave. He has a beautiful RV. Doing another load of laundry today. We had chili hot dog casserole, green beans and corn bread for dinner.

WG, another girl grand sounds over due... Lol ! I can not do crocks. Not enough support for my very flat feet. Birkenstock is expensive but works well for me. I wonder if the crocks made like regular shoes instead of a rubber tire would work ?

Brenda, love the quilt and bag. You always do such a nice job on your projects.

Marianne, i love your bike. Cute helmet picture. emoticon

Eileen, does cronometer allow you to import your spark favorite list for foods ? That would save so much work ! I wonder if mfp would ? I think it was nancy that said do control P and save files to adobe pdf. That should save blogs, recipes, etc, i would think. Only have tablet here so will try next week on day off.

Brenda, my goal is to ďspendĒ all of my points on goodies to give away, especially luxury ones, by the time the Spark site is shut down. Today I copied blogs I wanted to keep and deleted the rest. I need to work on the recipes I want copied in the next few days. emoticon

Eileen, that heat sounds awful, hope you get a break with some rain. Weíre in a serious drought, and more water restrictions are in the works.

My new bike helmet arrived last night so I took the new to me bike for a ride around the community this morning. Good exercise, however my knee is feeling it. Iíve also been exploring MFP; one of the Spark teams Iím on set up a test group, to see what kind of chat features there are. You can post pictures, limited emojis, and online links.
This is the bike my grandson fixed up for meÖ

Brenda, I think we posted at the same time last night. I love the bag and the quilt. Well done.

I had a quieter day today. Too hot to be out. We broke another record, barely at 5 Pm of having 97 for a high again today. We will have a huge electric bill for the month. Haven't seen it yet but know it's coming. But we like to be comfortable and I am hot all the time which can be so miserable. I did bake the banana bars last night and frosted them. Ran out of powdered sugar but had enough to finish. The pan came back with nothing but crumbs. I tasted those to be sure it was good :-)

We have new grass seed down as well as tomato plants and all the patio plants. Roger is out watering the new seed 3 times a day and the tomatoes behind out shed. I do the patio plants daily and they are all dried out before each watering. We are very dry. Rain keeps missing us by just a couple miles. Tonight we had rain that stopped the Twins game and the tarp was pulled out. Didn't ever get dark here. At the same time it was raining in the town across the river and we did get that either. I think we are "domed" (LOL)

Jason stopped over to get a short hose from dad to water his grass. Last weekend, he put in a watering system but has to water his new grass until the system is up and going.

I found a system for tracking that I am interested in I am told you can set up the FitBit and Garmin trackers and get more info than I can get with it on SP. It is cronometer.com if anyone is interested.

I used that site downloading ALL my data from SP. and it just came through to me email. Wow! I will have it to use if I can for another site.

WG, I wish I could hang out laundry but we have 3 streets around us and no where to kind of hide the lines. We never know if someone cuts through or not plus there have been a couple accidents where the vehicles have hit our tree on the corner. Glad it's there or our bedroom could be a danger zone! So the dryer it is.

Sharon, did you join to get a look at the MFP? It sounds like there are several programs out there to look at. I need one that works with Garmin. But would also keep up with the group.

Gail, we don't have a set day for shopping. It's kind of if we are close by or running out of loss of things so that I have to scrounge to make up a good meal.

TC, I know what you are saying about working in the heat. Our son Aaron works outdoors surveying with Hennipen Cty. (MPLS) and road construction. I hope you were able to get your MH cleaned today.

Hi all. Not getting on FB yet. I feel like I can chat better here and if I mention something, it won't show up in my feed the next day. Life is fun, isn't it.

TC, the total number of people was 31. The grands are 18 until the end of the year when the next two will be added. I'm hoping that the second one is a girl as well, but it is fine either way. Of the last 8 grands, only two are girls. The next one will be a girl so it would be nice.

I'm glad you are still enjoying camping. Hopefully the weather will be good enough for you to do the things you plan to do.

Arlene, so sorry your brother is hospitalized. I hope he does well. It is better now as a lot has been discovered about treating Covid respiratory illnesses. He does have that to his advantage. It is good that you are taking care of yourself, though.

Glad your garden is getting in shape. I hope you can get the icing set to someone who will enjoy and use it well.

Heather, have you thought of making another account using a US address and ISP then accessing it from your current one. Perhaps someone else can make a FB account in your name and then you can log in later. Just an idea.

Eileen, It sounds like you are super busy. I give up baking altogether when it is hot like this. If I must bake, I do it late at night so my utility bills aren't too awful. I also do laundry early in the day and hang it outside and avoid the dryer. Living in California all those years ago has made me very aware of that. Now that I have water use restrictions, it is tricky to keep everything in place, but I'm going to make it work. My SIL lives in Las Vegas. They use the company managed A/C utility. Their house is always over 85 but not more than that. But the A/C is only on 3/4 of the time. They also have a plan for the house here. They get a discount if the daytime usage is less than the evening usage. It works for them, but I'm grateful I don't have to do that yet.

I'm sure your grands enjoy having you there. It means a lot to children to have their grandparents care enough to attend things.

Sharon,, I'm glad you got your blogs downloaded. I'm sure there is a lot of loss when they change systems. I hope that it will be less traumatic than it seems like now. I'm willing to wait and see how much changes. i do enjoy Spark and would hate to have to change. I have other sites that are more corporate and it works well to do some social stuff as well. If is often in a fitness challenge. It is easy on those teams to invite others to the challenge and the chat on that challenge is limited to those who are participating.

PJ, glad Frank's difficulties may be a relatively easy fix. I'm sure it isn't fun having to wear compression sleeves, but they do help fluid build up. Hopefully it will start to improve soon as the swelling decreases. That would be the hope.

Glad your carpet cleaner was good. I use local guys when I can. I have a plumber I love, an appliance guy I like, a bricklayer I like, and a couple of lawnmower guys that I love. It is nice to be able to refer them to others and know that they are good workers.

My step father was a carpet cleaner. He had a lot of word of mouth business. He did a great job. Drove me nuts but he did a great job. He was very particular and I had to go outside and see all the dirt he got out of my carpets. My dad had his own mechanic's shop for a few years. He gave away too much service so it didn't last, but he had some great friends who shared stories about how he helped them out over the years.

Brenda, I love your bag and quilt for your grands. They look wonderful. So glad your DH could help you with organizing. It is always a task to make sure that everything is in a good place. It can get the creative juices rolling if you can see more space as well.

I'm still mask hesitant although it is getting easier to feel safe. My sister teaches and she plans to wear a mask at school again this year.

I can't wear flip flops any more. i do like Crocs as they have better arch support but I am careful when I buy shoes to get them with good arches and I do OK. I hope your feet feel better soon.

Gail, how smart to get your groceries before you go home. Hopefully you will be able to have fun the rest of your vacation.

Off to do some sewing. Have a great day.

I tried to accept you as a friend, PJ and it said error 503. I goggled it and that code means down for maintenance or an overloaded thread.

I would think it’s because of the overwhelming number of SP migrating to MFP.

When I can, I will accept you!

This was posted on another team to remind people to download what they want to save from old spark. In the article there was a link to a new feature allowing you to export your data, at least for your nutrition trackers www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/export-my-data
.asp
is the link to that feature (hope the link works). When I went there, you choose what length of time you want for those reports, choose which trackers you want included, then click "get my report". Below that was a box that said "Report Export Status". Mine said nothing to report, but I hadn't clicked on anything for getting a report at the time. Don't know what information shows up when you hit "get my report" or if you have to do that first for anything to show in "report export status". Someone else may want to experiment with that and report what they find.

Good day,

PJ, sorry to hear Frank is still suffering. I hope the sleeve wrap helps.

Arlene, praying for your family.

Brenda, i hope going back to less cute shoes helps your pain.

Eileen, wow ! Those temps. Laundry can be miserable in those kinds of temps. The bread sounded good though.

Gail, your visit with friends sounds like such fun.

Doing laundry here today, hoping to get other side of Rv washed. Very hot n humid right now. Poor mike working in this heat. Just finished lunch with mom. Good zuppa toscada soup. Keto, of course.

Iím with you Sharon. Did some exploring on MFP and like what I see so far. I just connected my fitbit with it which is something I didnít do on SP.

Hey Eileen, Glad you got your laundry down. Iíll have quite a bit to do when we get home on Sunday. The spicy banana bars sound wonderful and Iím sure they were gobbled right up.

Brenda, your projects look great.

Today we got groceries to get us through next week. We go home on Sunday and I didnít want to go on Monday for groceries. We are now back to our Wednesday to Wednesday routine for groceries. Not sure what we are doing this afternoon, probably nothing. Itís quite warm here. I wanted to go to the fish hatchery but I donít think Bruce really wants to go. The way are camper is angled, we donít get shade till 3 pm or so. So if itís not too hot, weíll sit outside.

I spent a lot of time browsing MFP this morning. The more I look the better I like it. I added the app on my phone as well. It’s beginning to look like it will be my new home after 8/17.

It is very hot here today. Nothing on our agenda for this afternoon. I took Nala for our walk earlier and decided to do house walking this afternoon in my A/C home.

Brenda - your latest projects are so cute. I didn’t realize how close the delivery is approaching. I am excited for you. Our GGB in due the end of Aug.

Arlene - it is a shame that your brothers chose not to be more careful or get vaccinated. I hope he doesn’t regret his decision and is strong enough to pull through.

Sharon, I think you can copy the nutrition reports that will give you a little information but don't know how to copy all the tracker info.

Arlene, I am so sorry your brother is so ill. My prayers are with him and you all. That's great you may have a buyer for all the cake decorating equipment. What a gift!!

PJ, I hope the elbow compression and wraps work for Frank. He has to be miserable.

TC, glad you got a little of the RV washed. Rain could slide over the clean part. :)

Brenda, we usually have big orders when shopping at Costco or Sams. But it holds us for 2-3 weeks before having to restock.

Gail, glad you got to visit with friends. We enjoy Kimberly City when in the area.

Busy day today. Did 5 loads of laundry plus the dishwasher. As far as I know Sharon, we don't have an up charge for electric. Baked spicy banana bars for Roger to take to his coffee group tomorrow. It's his turn to serve the treats. The guys really like them so they will be gone when he gets home. Had to bring a fan up to the great room to move the heat around and keep it comfortable.

We are on another road to setting a record for June. Looks like we'll have at least 9 straight days of over 90 degrees in June and no rain in sight. It's all going up north. Go from freezing conditions directly to 90's and some areas over 100 is like whiplash! It may break on Friday with an 88 degree high. Our nights are in the 70's kind of like TX. That doesn't allow cooling. There are many road blow outs, some really bad. Showed one car on the news as it took to the air after having one pop up right in front of them.

Hi to all and I hope things are going well.

Sharon , my brother and his wife are among those that refused to get COVID vaccinations and I was so worried because they also weren't careful. My other brother and his wife have not gotten theirs either, He did tell my sister this morning that the pneumonia was worse than they first thought. I keep praying.

Arlene, Iím so sorry about your brother. Iíll pray for him.

Hey all, I signed up at My Fitness Pal as grallen904. I havenít done a lot of exploring over there yet but will in time.

Today we went to see our friends who have a summer house in Kimberling City. They got here last Wednesday and will leave tomorrow. Actually the house belongs to the husbandís parents who live in the house full time. They took us for a ride on Table Rock Lake on their pontoon boat. Then we ate lunch out and rode the boat back to their dock. It was a fun day. We lucked out with the weather with sunny skies and not too hot. The weather man had predicted rain off and on.

PJ, Iím sorry your Frank bursitis. I hope the bandage works. So glad you had a good experiences with your carpet cleaner. We had to do that when we put our KC house up for sale and the guy we hired, like your guy, was in business for himself. Great service.

Hereís a little more information from Chris.

Arlene, your brother is in my prayers, very sorry and hoping he improves. emoticon

PJ, I had 6 months of unrelenting pain from hip bursitis before a combination of physical therapy exercises, ice packs, and over the counter pain relievers helped. Even the 2 steroid shots I agreed to didnít help much. The pain relievers helped with sleep but the ice packs and exercise ultimately reduced the pain to a manageable level. Three years later I still do the exercises daily, and can still feel twinges, but nothing like it was. Very sorry Frank is going through this ó following doctorís suggestions sounds smart. One idea ó check YouTube for bursitis videos. Bob and Brad had helpful hip bursitis tips and there are sure to be reputable ideas for elbows.

PJ - two years ago both Marianne and I was diagnosed with hip bursitis. Both our drs gave different solutions. It was a difficult time for me and complained a lot to Norm who showed very little sympathy for me. Then last year, he got hip bursitis. All of a sudden he was understanding my pain. Then last summer I had rotator cuff bursitis. The dr sent me for Physical Therapy and it got better faster.

The bottom line is every dr has their own way of dealing with it! I hope Frank has faith in his dr and follows his advice.

Arlene, sorry to hear about your brother. I hope he does well in the hospital and gets home soon.I also hope you would be able to sell most of your cake stuff but boy that sounds like an awful lot of work.

Brenda, sorry to hear about Ifit not doing the maps. Seems like everything boils down to money. Shame !

Heather, seems really crappy that Spark can not offer the non usa people a way in after so many years of loyalty. Glad you found the FB site.

Eileen, the grands shows sound like a lot of fun !

Marianne, i cleaned my RV outside yesterday until it started to rain, then vacuumed. I agree about the kids needing the vaccine also.

Sharon, we have rate hikes too. That is how they make all their money... Lol ! Glad you were able to share your food.

Gail, your food/ meals sound good. We had ham broccoli frittata for dinner last night. Wraps with broccoli salad for lunch and slowly eating the strawberries from garden.

WG, om geee, 31 grands at once ! You were busy but i bet entertained !

Judy, the new spark is free for now but i cannot help but wonder how long it will be before they charge and what amt it will be. They report they will have a community part but not necessarily groups ? When i first joined spark, it was confusing and overwhelming to me. I finally figured out how to find a like minded group.

Still camping and no fire last night since it rained.

Sharon did they get the frig installed in the MH?
Arlene so sorry to hear about your brother.

I'm not going to save any blogs or pictures. Like most of you I just want a way to keep in touch with team members. Thank you Sharon for the one you started on FB this team can at least keep in touch.

Frank had his dr appt yesterday. He now has bursitis in the elbow that had surgery. Dr wants him to wear an ace bandage with a well padded elbow compression sleeve over that (which they put on him) at all times except when he showers and he goes back in 6 weeks. Dr said he didn't seem to have an infection and hopefully this will take the swelling down and some of that fluid will reabsorb. He said he doesn't like to drain them as there is a risk of infection doing that. He is pretty miserable between the swelling and the compression sleeves.

I know some of you have dealt with Bursitis what are our thoughts about Frank. Any info is welcome

We had our carpets cleaned yesterday afternoon. The guy was right on time and did a terrific job I have been putting the small stuff I had moved back in place after letting things dry overnight. He was a local man in business for himself for 29 years. We also got some local names from him for an outside plumber and landscape people. I really like dealing with local individuals when possible versus these big franchised companies. And word of mouth is always a plus.

Well back to work since I am cleaning today before starting any more sewing projects I will go up and clean my She Cave too. Ugh

I go by the name of PJ and live north of KC, MO. Winter in East Texas.

Onward and Downward

Its always too soon to quit.

It may take me longer to get to my goal than my original plan but I will get there.

It's a tough trying time for me right now, my bother was admitted yesterday with pneumonia that is COVID related. Sorry to say I wasn't surprised but very sad. When I talked to him on the phone on Sat he sounded really tired, which I understand isn't unusual, and I did tell him to be careful and if he started to get worse to get to the hospital. His oxygen was really low and when they did the CAT SCAN they found the pneumonia in the one lung and said it was COVID related. He's 110 miles away and all I can do is worry.

I worked my butt off yesterday getting all my flowers in the ground hoping we get some of the rain they say we "might" get. And I'm still getting the stuff ready for my rummage sale. Did get a call yesterday from my jeweler asking if he could give my name and number to someone that had come into the store that is just starting a cake decorating business .....YES!!! I hope that pays off, it would be a weigh off my shoulders.

Good Morning! I only wrote blogs when it was something important to me, like our get togethers and such. So I took the time yesterday to save all my blogs. It took quite awhile but it is worth it to me.

I would like to save the nutrition info from the foods I have manually entered but I am not sure how to do that. If anyone knows, please enlighten me.

I did go over to My Fitness Pal. I think Mary used that site for tracking. It looks pretty good and the differential between MFP and SP was 23 calories for yesterday. So if I am unable to track in the new format, I will probably use MFP.

It is another hot humid summer day here. The A/C was working pretty hard all ready this morning. Our electric companies are charging higher rates between 2pm and 7pm. So I am trying to do laundry, dishwasher and that sort of thing before the rates go up. Does anyone else have to deal with that?

I am having to go way back for my blogs I want. They are the travel blogs that I have done daily. Otherwise I think most can go away.

It's been a trying day. Still trying to recoop from the weekend. And yes, Gail you did make comments. That was for the week before. They 2 grans are very busy girls. We did miss the spring gymnastics meets as we weren't here and the meets were in St. Louis and Cedar Rapids, IA. I don't think we have anything more except to celebrate their birthdays. The other GD has dropped her DoJo karate and her violin but has gotten a guitar and uke. Just learning those 2.

Eileen

Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner.
Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.
