Another beautiful day with sunshine and in the 60s. I have taken 2 walks and a short bicycle ride (first time in over a year).
Truck is fixed and he couldn't find any reason for the leak so we will just watch and see what happens.

We walked in the campground last night and did a bit of visiting with some of the winter Texans.

Hope Mike, TC WG are all feeling better and any one else that not feeling well.

Hi everyone. I didn't sleep night before last so yesterday was a total loss. Was a zombie all day Slept better last night. Have some things to do today.

SS, good for you winning. Glad you can take a break while doing laundry. Enjoy your time today. WATP is fun.

TC, I used to just accept my 10,000 from work. Doing more was really exhausting and I'd end up with 30,000 for the day. 17 hours is a long day. It is not really safe for patients and shouldn't happen regularly. I don't know what you can do with it, though.

Marianne, what a nice walk. I'm sure you will do well with your travels. You get to make choices about your food and although eating out is more fun, it is not that hard to cook at home.

Brenda, hope Mike feels better soon.

Annie, smoother skin really does show. I hope your endeavors take off soon.

I've got some things to do. I'll visit tomorrow if I get time. Have a wedding shower and shopping to do.

Morning!
It is breezy and overcast this morning so it actually feels cooler than yesterday but it's warmer! The sun is supposed to shine this afternoon and get a high of like 68. It's only 53 now so it's not gonna happen without that sun!

Norm has woodcarving this afternoon so Nala and I are alone for 3 hrs. I look forward to my alone time. I have doing one of my Sweating to the Oldies dvd's the last couple of days to get my step goal. I think I'll do a Leslie Sansone WATP just to change it up.

Nala is getting her monthly grooming in the MH! But Norm is very good about vacuuming up the mess as he goes so I'm OK with it. Nala however does not enjoy it but she tolerates it well.

Annie - I tried your link but it didn't work. I went to Avon.com and to find you as a rep, I need first and last name. So if you could Spark Mail me the spelling of your last name, I'll try again.

TC - 2 weekends in a row off emoticon I bet the casino will fall in their somewhere!

Brenda - I hope Mike is feeling better. Feed him chicken noodle soup for dinner. They have proven that it really does work to shorten a cold. I guess Grandma was right!

Marianne - busy time packing everything for a month's RV trip. Loved the pics you posted. I'm sure you'll be posting more from your travels.

Sign up as one of my customers. I do make money on my online sales.

Thanks. I am slowly getting this up and going!

Where I work everyone keeps asking me what is different about me. They think I did something different with my hair. I keep telling them I did not. The only thing different is that I have been using the Anew products. My face is softer and more smoother looking. Yes I love the product.

One more day to get ready for month long RV trip and because Im watching grandkids this week, not a lot done! Tomorrow I have time and need to run some errands - hoping that I remember to put everything on my list, LOL.

PJ, I hate being cold and since our mornings are 45-50 degrees, Im not getting out to walk until later in the day, with less energy. I hope your feet feel better.

Sharon, you may not be near a casino but Im glad youre enjoying some games of chance, and the opportunity to win. I was thinking your temps were pretty cold so glad it will be warming up.

Brenda, Ive included a couple of bird pictures from my morning. emoticon I took my grandsons to a local San Jose park; it was 61 degrees, downright balmy, and we watched the geese. The birds on the lake are ducks and geese.

Peggy, glad you were not in an accident with those crazy drivers out there. Too many people are driving distracted, playing or talking on their phones.

WG, I ended up staying off work. Glad I had that day off before. I ended up working 17 hrs yesterday. It was not pretty and my feet still hurt, legs are cramping and I am not anxious to get my 10K steps in. I am jealous that you are getting smart outlets. I want some also. Have fun with the grands.

Sharon, luckily you can find most of Kristies recipes on youtube. I am anxiously awaiting her new book coming in march. Mom gave me 2 new books for Xmas also and I have earmarked a few recipes to try.

Morning!

It is almost noon and we're still waiting for the propane guy to come and fill us up! I wish he would get here as we want to go to CC this morning and run a couple errands. But right now propane is our top priority.

I got our laundry done for the week yesterday. I love that our laundry room is right next to our community lounge so I can relax and watch TV, read or even visit with others while waiting for the laundry.

We did go to card elimination last night. We play 10 games and I won 3 of them. The last one is the biggest pot and I won it all by myself so I didn't have to share. Came home with over $60 so I had a fun and profitable evening!

PJ - isn't it nice that DH can handle so many problems. Norm came to our rescue earlier this week. We lost our brakes so he had to replace a brake cylinder. I was pleased I got to help when he was done and needed to bleed the air out of the lines. LOL! I got to pump the brakes and push down when he told me to.

Thanks to my few faithful posters. We seem to lose everyone here when I open a challenge chat thread!

The walk Monday really kicked my but sore and tired I guess it was the boots plus the extra clothes. It wasnt any farther than I have been walking.

Yesterday was a long day for us. Our Verizon jetpack quit working so drove to town and of course too small of a town for a Verizon store so ended up driving all the way to McAllen (about 2 hours away) and did get a new one. Bought groceries and just got back to the park and something went wocky with the truck. So glad we were in the park and it was drivable. My DH mechanic thinks he can fix it here with no problems something with the fuel injector. Checked on our mail and it got held up in San Antonio so will check again tomorrow to see if it is at post office. Oh also something is leaking in the trailer has to do with the shower vent (DH thinks) so something else he gets to try and fix.

I took my walk this morning, cleaned house, cleaned veggies, did some hand laundry, and shampooed my hair. Will be frying fish (that we brought with us)for dinner tonight

I bought a capachinno yesterday to have this morning. Boy it must have been loaded with caffeine as I feel like I am flying high.

We are really putting the electric fireplace to use in this trailer plus we have a portable electric heater also. Furnace has been used a couple of times but since we don't pay for electricity we try and use electric as much as possible. And this trailer is easy to heat especially the bedroom area which sits up higher. So to keep me cool enough to sleep the heaters go to low and Franks piles on an extra blanket.

WG - Propane guy comes in the morning. We actually have two heaters with us. So we won't go too cold even if our propane runs out. Plus we can always turn our heated mattress cover up.

Hi Everyone. It has been cool here but nothing like the middle of the country. It is "normal" temperatures for the date.

SS, glad you got to see a movie. Did the gas guy come or is he coming tomorrow? It might be nice to have a small electric heater "just in case" so you don't freeze.

Annie, I know a lot of people who are selling things. One sold candle melt things and has earned a trip to Disney World. This during nursing school and while working full time with 3 small children. She is sort of a "super woman" though and does everything. She is adorable. I'm not surprised she sold so much. She has a degree in marketing before she went back to school so she knows how to sell.

My neighbor has been selling for years and for the last ten has had a quadraplegic husband who is still home, so it is surprising that she has time, but she does and does well enough.

Got to get moving. Still have grands for another few minutes. And I am setting up some "smart outlets" so I can control them from my phone or Alexa. It is fun to turn things off and on when I'm not home or in the room. I loved it this year with the tree lights. I might do it again this winter with other lights around the house.

Have a great day.

emoticon We are up to 35 degrees! It got down in the 20's last night so we are going up. At least the sun is shining today and that lifts the mood. It should get in the 40's today and then warm up so that we are in the 70's by the weekend (or so they say).

Norm has woodcarving this afternoon and some time today I need to go to the laundry room and do some laundry. Not much on our agenda. Last night we went and saw the movie Jumanji and it was just what we needed - nothing deep but lots of laughs. And I made it with no popcorn!

Peggy - glad you made it home safe. Now you can begin working on our challenge like the rest of us. Good luck!

TC - thanks for the link to the sausage fat bombs. I love Kristie and even bought her cookbook but I left it home which made me mad.

Marianne - sounds like a fun NYE dancing the night away! I have to go out for a walk as soon as I'm done Sparking and it's going to be cold but Nala doesn't seem to mind as much as I do.

Annie - emoticon Good Luck with your Avon career! I sold Mary Kay for 14 yrs and loved it. I only quit when we retired as I was away from my inventory and it wasn't fair to my customers. At least with Avon, you don't have to carry an inventory. We have an Avon lady here in our resort and it's nice as she can take her business wherever she travels. If we order from your online site, do they send it direct to us and do you get a commission. Or do they send it to you and you have to send it to us? I would order if I don't have to pay shipping.

Annie I sold Avon for a bunch of years while kids were growing up. At that time you only sold by going door to door so I'd do it while they were in school and while they were home I did wedding and novelty cakes from my home. That way I could be home when they were. My problem was I had to be careful that I didn't become my own best customer. I saw that happening with a lot of the ladies. Good luck.

Hi everyone. Have read the posts but the grands are coming any second. Will check in later.

Annie, I really feel better not working in a stressful environment. Maybe a move to another area? Somewhere with longer term patients who aren't as critical. Although the "critical care junkie" mentality exists, it can wreak havoc on the body and health. Hope the sugars can be regulated better soon.

TC. hate showing up to work and not being scheduled. Did you work anyway?

Those enjoying cold, I'm not going to complain as mine us at "normal." Need snow but the rest is good. I've got out my comforter and the down is so nice to sleep under unless the temps aren't just right then I'm sticking a toe or foot out or have cold feet.

Have a great day.

Crazy cold weather. Even those of us down here in the south are feeling it. It’s getting down into the 20s every night this week and only making the 40s in the daytime emoticon

When we got home it was 61 degrees It is now 52

It's great to be back home. Bagel King was delicious as usual.

We got gas and then came home and unpacked After that we went to Publix to get a few things to hold us over until Thursday shopping day.

Today was another good day driving 30 minutes after Jacksonville until we got off 95 in Daytona the cars were driving like they were on the race track. They were passing on the left and right and a couple of times people were trying to get in the middle lane from both sides.

Jerry thought for sure there was going to be an accident.

But here we are tucked in our house for the night. Of course I have to go and see Jayne, Nisha and Liam after dinner

Happy New Year everyone!

We entertained old friends for New Years, attending our community party with a wonderful band and catered dinner. I skipped the alcohol and got more than 15,000 steps dancing. emoticon The couple visiting us from out of town enjoy our clubhouse parties because alcohol use is subtle and people behave themselves, LOL. The next day we saw the latest Hugh Jackman movie, The Greatest Showman, which is a delightful musical.

Today Im with grandsons while DH tries to get an RV battery problem solved before we leave for a month later this week. In fairness, the coach batteries are supposed to be replaced every 3 years and these are 5 years old. Pete will also take down all of the outside Christmas decorations - I have to take care of the inside tonight.

Annie, I hope the meds and the life style changes youre considering help with your blood sugar. I have a good friend who works part time selling Avon - she has a room in her house devoted to her business.

Sharon, the freezing temps in much of the country sound terrible on the news. Its tough to complain about our unseasonably chilly weather when our low temp is only about 35 degrees. I walked DDs dog this morning and she was not pleased to be out in the cold. emoticon

PJ, good for you. I need to bundle up and go walking outside more. Were spending the next few weeks near Palm Springs and Quartzite, AZ, so Ill have warmer temps as an incentive.

Heather, Im sorry its been a tough year for you with family. We had a few bumps too, and know the value of a strong and supportive spouse. emoticon

Whoops, kids are squabbling and voices are louder - time to distract them!

Happy 2018 to everyone!

I have opened a new door in my life. I am selling AVON. It is time for me to be my own boss and if my hubby does retire this year, it will help us to be able to start traveling. That is the plan at least. I have use Avon before, then went to Lancme and beauty control but am back with Avon, so why not sell it also. If anyone is interested let me know. My online site is youravon.com/alaventure

Also have made an apt. With a endocrinologist. Was at work last week and did not feel well. Took my blood sugar and my machine said Hi to me. Thought that was cut, but one of the nurses said it means that my blood sugar was over 600. Down to the ER I went and after fluids and insulin I was sent home. I hope that this new Dr can help me. I work on the cardiac floor and it is very stressful. The other reason that I have decided to join AVON.

Have also made a vow to visit every State Park in MO and hike. The new pup is big and is doing very well on a leash. She is still shy, but her size should help keep me safe.

Praying that everyone has a awesome 2018!

Morning!
It got down in the 20's last night but we stayed warm in our MH. Today high only in the 30's again. The temps are bad but it is also windy so it is bitterly cold outside. I took Nala for her morning walk but as soon as she dumped her load, we headed right back to the warmth of the MH. Tomorrow it's supposed to start getting warmer and by the weekend we should be back in the 60's which is normal for Jan here in TX. I hope the forecast is right!

Heather - were you able to spend some time with Anjulie over the holidays? I kind of lost track of what's going on. Has your DS backed off from getting her regularly? Alex is a good solid rock to hold on to!

Peggy - safe travels! It will feel good to get back home and off the road. Don't forget to record your starting weight for the challenge when you get home to your scale emoticon

TC - you should show a loss with the way you are eating and moving! What is happening to you? I know I have been on a sugar binge and deserve my weight gain but it sounds like you are eating correctly. I hope your body starts releasing some weight! What is a sausage fat bomb? I have only have sweet ones and I promised myself not to make any until I've lost some weight and feel my sugar cravings are under control.

PJ - you did a good job on getting out and hiking yesterday! That's something to be proud of. I've been wondering how Frank is doing physically? Is he back to what you deem normal after his surgery?

WG - I'm glad you enjoy this team! We enjoy having you here as well. You add a lot of perspective to our posts and I love to read your insights. Now that the New Year is here, I hope you have success in your job quest. It would make life so much easier for you financially.

I have to get up and do a WATP dvd so I can help get my steps in today. I've been sitting on the couch too long according to my FitBit!

So happy to read of everyone's days as I am behind reading again. Good job PJ. Glad you had a good time Jacque and you were smart about it. drink up that water GF. I have had boiled eggs, bacon and coffee for bfast, a dble burger from mcdonalds sans bun and ketchup for lunch, 4 sausage fat bombs, 2 celery sticks and a sugar free brownie with cream for supper. Surely that is low carb...LOL !! Brenda, tell mike to chill out and enjoy his retirement for a while at least. If he is missed at work, they will make him a sweet deal to get him back.

working next 2 days so off to bed. night friends ! Tc

Cold here (for this part of Texas) I argued with myself about the ranger walk and the good in me one I layered up (3 layers) and my hiking boots and out the door I went. There were a total of 4 of us and the other three were park personnel or park volunteers so in all actuality I was the only participant from the campers. It was a good hike no hard rain or freezing rain but all the clothes and the boots I was pooped when I got back and hungry. Have a pot of black eyed peas with ham cooking. Also DH will bake some cornbread and I will cook some cabbage. Our annual New Years Day celebration dinner.

Happy New Year to us all and I plan to make this a great one I feel strong and on track with my eating and exercising again Onward and Downward.

Happy New Year. It is nice to have the fresh calendar pages, the hope of a new year, a new start. I am not a big believer in massive resolutions but admit that the calendar is a great measure of what is going on.

It sounds like many of you shared my celebration. I did have dinner and games and launching of floating lanterns and banging of pans with the grands. All but one child/family showed up to the celebrations. We had a great time and I overate a lot.

Hopefully it is mostly sodium and it will come off, but it will take some work to get things under control.

I so enjoy this team and the fun you all have with your travels and adventures.

Have a great day recovering from the past month or so and I'll check in soon.

Happy New Year!

We stayed home and went to sleep about 10:30. The fireworks at midnight woke all of us up including Nala! They didn't last long and we all settled back down to a good sleep.

My weigh in is over - ugh! I started my LC/HF diet with a breakfast of scrambled eggs. I pretty ready to get back to healthy eating so the next few days should be easy. Although I've been eating so poorly, I expect I may get the Keto Flu (headache and nausea) I need to drink lots of water to help with that.

It is so cold and windy here. I took one short walk outside and decided I was going to be like the rest of you and do my exercise in the MH! Today it's going to stay in the 30's and that wind is so bitterly cold. I hope all of us warm up soon!

Happy New Year. 2018 is the year of results.

I went out last night. I have a friend who owns a small neighborhood bar and she had a live band there. It was a very good night. I was A very good girl My car got parked and my roommate came and picked me up. We have to pick the car up later lol. I am now sitting here drinking copious amounts of water to rehydrate my poor abused body.

I hope everyone had a good night. Whatever you did. I’ve done many a New Year’s Eve at home in my pjs. It was nice to go out for this one.

1/1/18 - wow! The years just fly by!

I have weighed in for the challenge and have "allowed" myself to look at the school website. I took a break of over a week and there wasn't anything new. LOL

I did almost nothing yesterday. I need to remedy that today.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! We had our last family gathering post Christmas yesterday at our house, and for once, a meal I cooked turned out well. It was nice to see my sons family and catch up with our adult granddaughter who teaches 4th grade.
Today Pete and I are helping to decorate our clubhouse for the party tonight. We have a catered dinner, great band, and lots of dancing and socializing. A couple weve known for 30+ years is arriving to stay with us for two days - its a tradition that we try to spend every New Years Eve together, even if we dont see each other during the year. They look forward to Petes waffle breakfast on Jan. 1. emoticon
Arlene, emoticon At least he gave you a break after the kitchen remodel! I miss our wood fireplace.

Heather, its nice to know someone who loves snow, lol.

Tammy, thanks for talking turkey! Im going to get one Tuesday to prepare some freezer meals for the RV. The only way Im going to lose weight is if I reduce the meals we eat out on our January trip. emoticon

Sharon, that RV resort does sound like a partying crowd. Keeping people in the park who may want to drink to celebrate is sure much safer than having them driving.

Brenda, stay warm and I hope Michael is able to kick his bug. I agree, the stress of retiring and making such a huge life change is probably contributing.

Morning Ladies!

Our resort is having a big New Year's Eve Party tonight with a band and everything! One of the rooms in the clubhouse they are making into a Casino for Black Jack, Roulette and Poker Tournaments (no slots, darn). The owners are providing everything including LOTS OF DRINKS! To be honest, it's not our kind of party. We don't drink, dance or have any interest in the Casino Room. Plus, after our Christmas Eve Party, we know how much they will be drinking. The only good thing I can say is no one will have to drive home. With all that being said, I think I'd rather put my jammies on and enjoy watching TV. When I go to sleep, I will be dreaming of the weight we will all lose during our challenge.

Tammy - your turkey and dressing sounds good but the pot pie would be my favorite! I think Norm and I are going to drive in to Corpus Christie this afternoon and we will find some nice restaurant to have our dinner at. We will be cutting back on our restaurant meals starting tomorrow as well.

Heather - it sounds like most of us are just staying home tonight! Could be at our age, we've already seen it and done it! We found out a few years ago that the new year arrives with or without us celebrating. I would imagine with Slim World you probably have to shop for fresh veggies more than once a week. Do you plan your menu's ahead of time?

Arlene - I hope you finish your calendar today before the new year begins! It nice to know Jenny made the trip home safely. Speaking of taking down decoration, I thought I did it all yesterday but I just see my computer top and table top both have Christmas covers on them so I'm not quite done yet.

Brenda - tell Mike now that he's retired, his first job is to rest and relax until he feels better. I'm not surprised that his resistance was down from all the stress he's been going through. We all look forward to retirement, yet when faced with the reality of such a life changing time, it is stressful.

Whatever you decide to do this evening, stay safe and let's

Annie, it is nice to see you when you can pop in. I hope your new business goes well. My youngest DS is a rep for them. I like their skin care line for folks my age.

Joe and I are not going anywhere for NY, either. The windchill is going to be horrid, at least to us it is horrid. Plus we haven't gone anywhere for NY in many years. LOL I think Heather's plan sounds great, but Sugie wouldn't like the fireworks.

I got some things done in the house yesterday and want to put in at least the same time today. Not that it was that long. LOL Sometimes I think I am ADHD in the housekeeping department.

I baked a turkey yesterday and we enjoyed it with stuffing. I may make our favorite turkey leftovers recipe today, turkey pot pie using one crust which is made of crescent rolls. It is only a top crust, which makes it a little healthier.

Hello to all! Have a good, warm, safe New Year's.

I've been busy trying to get my calendar done, I always seem to be doing that I do everything else first. So I've spent way too much time sitting at the computer today, I hope to get it done tomorrow.

Jenny got home just fine, we're very glad she went yesterday though. We all stayed inside our homes today., the temps were very frigid, in the -15 and below at times. It may warm up a few degrees in a couple of days but then it's supposed to drop again. I doesn't make me a happy lady.

Once the calendar is done I have to get my Christmas decor down. Then Darrell is talking about starting on his next project. He wants to take the front of the fire place wall down and change the paneling he has up to sheet rock and build a new front on the fire place and build a mantle. So I will be in "under construction" mode again for a while. :) I do hope I can put him off till it warms up a little bit. He has had a really nice fire going for the last couple of days. We haven't done that for a while. He has a natural gas fire place down stairs in the family room that is used all the time but hasn't wanted to mess with the wood for a while.

Well I better get to bed.

I missed posting here yesterday. I was here and read a couple times but didn't post so I quit getting notifications. I have been busy getting our challenge all set up and ready to go.

It was so cold yesterday, I never left the MH. Today is much more pleasant. Norm had to replace a brake cylinder on the car so he got that done. Now we are taking down Christmas decorations. I said I wanted to leave them up until after New Year's Eve but he reminded me it is 59 degrees today and only in the 30's Monday & Tuesday. So he's taking the lights down outside and I'm changing things inside.

Annie - glad to see your post. We have a new challenge just starting on Monday. It's not too late if you would like to join us. It will keep you more active with us ladies!

Brenda - I told you they would try to keep Mike working given the great department he's working in. I hope he doesn't take anything for a few weeks. It will give him a better chance to decide how you are doing. If he's like everyone else, he's apprehensive about what retirement will be like financially and whether he'll keep busy. After a few months, he'll wonder how he got everything done while working.

Heather - another good loss for the week!

Well I'm feeling great have lost the 2 weeks (3.6 pounds down total) we have been in Texas and will continue to see progress finally. Do you think it might have something with walking and tracking food and more conscious of what is going in my mouth emoticon

We finally have a dry day but more yuck coming our way. Did get out and walk again this morning after 3 days of not. Cleaned the trailer and got laundry done 2 days ago. Only one dryer this year at rec hall so it is going to be a challenge (2 washers) for all of us.

More have arrived in campground and I understand more are coming. However our best buds won't be joining us as he is undergoing chemo for leukemia We are so sad as we have so much in common with them. But will pray for a good outcome.

Started 2 new projects (got socks finished and mailed to cousin) now trying a new crocet vest pattern and a different knitted sock pattern I have ripped out the vest 3 times so far not a good start. But it is challenging my mind. That's good right.

Hi everyone.

The possible spotty freezing drizzle is indeed here - ick! Youngest SD isn't coming from St. Louis [illlness, cold temps, freezing drizzle] and DS isn't coming [got called into work but we would have discouraged anyway with the weather]. So it will be we "old folks" again. I am planning to bake a turkey this afternoon. I think that is a good cold weather activity, and some good healthy protein as well.

I also need to continue with some projects that are in various stages of completion. Maybe I will start with the one closest to completion to get a sense of accomplishment early on. LOL

Hi everyone. Happy Last Day of Work For Mike. It is a scary and hard thing to do but a nice bit of time away and he won't miss it. It is hard in many ways as we get a lot of validation from our profession, but it is also possible to find other things to enjoy.

It will be interesting to see what he does. I'm all for doing a bit of side work but I'd recommend waiting a few months before doing so. It gives him time to adjust and decide if he really wants to do it.

TC, take care of yourself. That's a lot of work. Still doing mandatory overtime? I still think that is a silly thing and more nurses need to be hired if things are that tight. I know there is a shortage, but it is not encouraging others to take on the occupation.

Arlene, hope your daughter makes it home safely. Bad weather is more frightening the older we get. Hopefully the roads are cared for.

Tammy, sounds like a good short trip to see everyone. It's nice to visit with family. Happy birthday to your youngest. It is fun to see the kids grow up.

Annie, glad you are getting a specialist. This is a scary thing and it is so hard on your body. I hope you get the sugars under control and you can start to feel better. Take care of yourself.

I'm going to take the tree down and clean up Christmas. I've got to pick up a couple of grands from a wedding tonight so they don't run wild and make their parents crazy. They can play with cousins then take a rest and watch a movie while we wait for their parents to come.

Have a great day.

Happy Friday to everyone!

Thank you for the sparkgoodies that I received. I love getting those.

Christmas has been busy, snow, cold weather and work. I am working the next 7 days. After that it will be back to normal and I can get on here more. I have also been busy launching my Avon career. If anyone is interested here is my online store site. Www.youravon.com/a LaVenture

I really want to work from home and be able to travel more. My blood sugars have been in the 600 and I am making an apt. With a specialist. I know my job is part of my problem, so I am planning on making this work.

Stay warm everyone and be safe on New Years Eve.

Brenda - This last day for Mike is going to be hard. It's scary to begin with. I know it was for Darrell, he put 35 yrs in with the City of Minot. He took a year off from everything and then went back to work at a part time job, not his old place. That's hard because the one's still there sometimes feel like they can't be trusted. He was happy with the part time job and the almost 2 yrs ago now he retired from that. Now he's content to do his training sessions for the North Dakota Safety Council, they're only about once every other month. No we don't have bunches of money but we're comfortable with what we have from his retirement. :} He'll find it hard to relax to begin with. Tell him good luck from us.

Oh Heather I love it I will show him when he gets home !

Sharon no plans yet I think we both are trying get our heads wrapped around this all . But this morning he did ask me (& I think he's hoping ) if they ask him to come back for a 75 day contract do I mind I said no do what makes you happy . so we will see but they had said it was for only higher ups which he isn't. the new gal told him she HATES this job and is thinking about leaving the state of Ill all together thats leave only one person who know what or how things work the others are clues less !!

Mike had to take the work van in to check the battery the guy helping him said yea he had been retired for 5 years from that job but they keep calling him back for the 75 day contract they can't find anyone to take over . pretty sad
