Asics=good choice, Bloo...glad you're likin' em.
Lana, thanks for the tidbit of info on the new 2130s...I don't know if I'll like that they are lighter. I'm a pretty thunderous runner and find light sneaks are not comfy...kinda funny for 115 lb person...

My new sneaks are "Reebok Premier Trinity KFS". So far, I really like them...they have good support and cushioning. I have flat feet so this is something I really need. Also, Reebok are kind of a requirement in my household since my husband is employed by Reebok and gets a nice discount.

P.S. I used Bloo's link and these were listed as a recommended shoe for me. They are also a Runner's World Editor's Choice.

I am very much in love with my Asics Gel-Nimbus. Despite the hefty price tag I will definitely purchase another pair. The good part is I get 500 miles out of them, way more than any others I've tried.

Lana - I am leaning toward the Asics myself. I think I will try a pair this time.

I'm pretty much hooked on my Asics. BUT, I have noticed that the 2130 is wider in the toe box and around the heel than the 2110. 2130 is lighter, too... I love both, but am actually still more partial to the 2110s.

Ok, Runner's Cafe members....I am starting this thread on sneakers...everything you would like to discuss...be it what kind to avoid...what kind you love and what kind you hate. What works best for you on a tready and what works best outside on the pavement or a trail.
Happy Running!!
