Sending out a request from one of our local bike club members who has relocated to the Dallas / Fort Worth area who is pining for the camaraderie of our club rides and hoping to replicate them in his new hometown area.

I thought I'd toss this out in case anyone from our Team would like to catch up with Sam, who is a well-seasoned, strong and experienced rider of many years.

Here is his comment about his attempts to connect thus far:

"I have found it difficult to find riding companions here in Texas. I joined the Dallas/Fort Worth Bicycle club, but it's quite a drive for me to meet them. When I do, there is usually 15 or 20 riders signing in, but then they all go off in small groups or alone. Lunch might be 2 or 3 people. So I'm riding solo through the ranch land west of Fort Worth. Did see a couple on a tandem today while I was bringing my granddaughter home from school. Maybe I'll run into them. Weather here is great for riding."

I didn't check with him about a more precise location as I see it is a drive for him to get to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but hey, one never knows?

Rather than share his e-mail publicly on this message thread I'd prefer if folks could SparkMail me if you are interested and I'll send you his e-mail address.

Many thx, in advance!
