I'm not sure I like the ones with mirrors--it looks like you don't have the same adjustability as you would with separate mirrors. Also, are you supposed to ride with them open? If so, what does that do to the comfort of the grip on the bar end?

I haven't had experience with either--I have a road bike with curved bars...

I think it's a personal preference. The mirrors on the bar ends are nice because you can fold them in and they are always there. On the other hand if they break then you have to buy new bar ends.

My Cannondale Quick 6 Fem is a fitness hydrid (no front shocks)/ flat bar road bike.

I still can't stand up and ride but I love the bar ends on my hubby's mountain bike.

I have seen bar ends with and without mirrors.
Is it better to get the bar ens with mirrors or just the bar ends and then get a mirror attachment?
