No plans for a pre-dawn walk this morning, it is much cooler out, which always dampens my enthusiasm. But will be what the day brings.

I'm not really a "Planning" person, I prefer to just go with the flow.

Hope Kelie is OK, let us know.

It has turned very warm here, so try to get outside to do watering and stuff while it is still pleasant out.

Other than that I really haven't made any plans.

Hope you can leave the stress behind soon. I did the walking on the way home, but didn't have long to wait at the airport and I had a good book to read on my Kindle, so the time passed quickly.

I'm so stressed out I have quit making plans. But we do have to drive to Prescott today for a few things that we need. Perhaps that will divert my attention away from my worries for a bit so it should help.

Hot weather has hit, so Prescott is slightly higher in altitude, so it might be a bit cooler. You had to get up early for the flight, but at least you have the airport to walk, walk, walk. There sure isn't anything else to do there -- it is always wait, wait, wait.

Early flight back from Germany. Got the 7.40 flight so had to set the alarm for 4.15. It was uneventful but plenty of fast walking around the airports. Will get out for a walk this afternoon.

Plans for Sunday:

Company coming at 12:30, so once the cooking is done we will just sit around and visit until they deem it is time to go home -- probably toward evening!

Nice weather today too, so we can definitely sit out on the patio to eat.

Today we are in Sun City so my plan was to get up early, do my emails on SP, then drive over to Walmart and walk up and down the aisles, getting whatever I needed. Did all that and even stopped by the Library and picked up several more books to read.

Decided to buy a little end table for next to my side of the bed. When I rearranged my furniture last time that side of the room wasn't long enough to fit both our night stands, so I let DH have his nightstand, and I used a tiny round one that doesn't hold much. Measured it the other day and found it is just under 24 inches of space available. While at Walmart I got one that is just over 20 inches, so it will fit just fine. Only problem is that I have to assemble it so I'm struggling with that now. lol -- Will I ever learn?

Love, Love, Love all your icons! Too cute!

Today was a pretty laid back day for me. Having trouble with my computer on some of the sites, so got up early and used DH's computer first thing in the morning to get in a bit of time on Ancestry.com -- than later tried my own laptop and it seemed OK today -- computers are hard for me to figure out. One time they work, then suddenly they don't. Go figure!

Did some gardening as we will be driving down to Sun City late in the day, so want to make sure everything is watered. I finally had 3 sprouts come up, but I don't know if they are cucs or zucchini -- they all look the same when they are real young. Anyway, I didn't think they were ever going to come up, so I bought a plant for the zucchini, the cucumber plants didn't look good, so didn't buy any. So I hope one of these seeds that came up is cucumber.

At 7:30 I noticed it was still more or less light out, especially with all the street lights we have in Sun City, and it was 84F so I took the dog for a walk, and also stopped to pick some lemons. There is a tree at one of the neighbors where they are falling off -- most of the low lemons have been picked, but I found several. DH uses them when he boils artichokes, and adds other spices -- I let him do it, it's one of the "good" things he can cook. lol

So tonight and maybe tomorrow night we are down in Sun City. DH sleeps late, so I will probably venture over to Walmart or somewhere to shop for a bit in the morning. It's breaks up the monotony of living in the country. lol

Today is Yarnell Daze in our little mountain town, so there are plenty of things to do and see today, then at 4:00 two neighbor ladies are having an Open House to show us what they have done with an old school house they bought. It should be interesting.

Besides all that it's the first warm day we've had for awhile, not really warm yet, but hoping it gets to the high 60's at least. Right now it's only 58, but that's better than the 51 when I got up.

Cute picture, Joyce -- wish I was a skinny as her!

It is drizzly outside so guess my gardening plans go by the wayside, and it will be inside work today. Perhaps finish my ironing, and work on my painting of a sunset with a bare tree in the foreground. And of course, there is always TV. lol

Today I plan on terracing an area we have in our upper yard. So far I have hauled (in the back of my car) some abandoned cement retainer blocks from a lot where their home burned down also (and they moved to another town). I threw the blocks over the fence closest to the spot I will be using them. The whole process was quite a workout. Can I count it as strength training? The blocks must weigh a minimum of 10 lbs. each and it took me about 30 minutes.

Do some gardening that was not so tiring after that, like watering, then watched a TV show, and a short nap. Now at 3:20 thinking of going out and working on the terracing some more.

It's evening now, but my plans were to work on an area that will be my rose garden -- got all 7 of my new roses planted, and worked on placing the flagstone around them so I can walk around them.

Also had company for dinner, and that went well.

Driving to Prescott (about 30 to 40 miles depending on route we take) and plan on buying bareroot roses for a rose garden in one corner of my yard. Also have some canna's I plan on planting.

Probably will stop by Costco for gas and I need Greek yogurt. Tried a chicken breast stuffed with artichoke hearts and spinach, it was delicious, so buying another one.

Maybe lunch at the Red Lobster and that will finish off our big day! lol

My plans for today was to attend my Tai Chi class and then my cardio class.
Well the best laid plans of mice and men.
I instead watched my granddaughter all day. I do love having them but I have so much to do to get ready for our trip and I have my other granddaughter all day tomorrow because her Mom is having gallbladder surgery.

The basket sounds adorable, Rosa!

My plans for today included a walk this morning, albeit a short one.
Now I'm getting ready to paint the wee bit of fence that is left. Finally, if I get around to it, rake back the rock beside the house and paint the bit of cement foundation so it matches the color of the house.

By then I will be completely tuckered out.

Will be taking out most of the short little 3-foot high fence along one side of the yard. The men are coming on Saturday to do it. Up next to the house it is about 6-feet high, so I'm keeping that part and painting it to match the house. I'll do the painting myself -- I already painted the entire house.

Then I have two pictures that need to be lowered a bit, and one wrought-iron thing to hang that holds three candles. Moved some furniture around this morning. Love to do that.

Nice and sunny out today, and 69F at 1 o'clock.

Rain was forecast so I wasn't sure if I would get a walk in or not -- but at 5:00 it was overcast which suits my eye problem just fine, so I chanced it and got in a nice 23 minute walk.

Also called to see about having a fence put in the back yard both to keep the pets in and also for added privacy. The man wasn't busy, came out and he will be back out on Saturday to start the job. WooHoo! I love quick action like that.

Thursday having our income tax done, think we have all the paperwork and figures together!

Before noon we plan on driving up to our summer home, elevation 5000 ft -- it should get to about 65F or so up there today, so we'll do some yard cleanup -- weeds are starting to pop their heads through the ground, a sure sign spring is on the way. Soon it will be time to put our plants in the newly constructed planters and be ready for our summer stay up there!

Daisy got completely soaked and muddy during her walk this lunchtime, so had to have a shower in the bath. Full works this time. emoticon She hates a bath but is as good as gold, even when I use the hair dryer on her.

Have been trying to tear out a fake electric fireplace from my living room. The previous owner of this house placed it right in front of the window in the living room, and it makes the room dark -- why she placed it there is beyond me! The job is just too big for me, so I am calling my handyman to come and complete it for me!

Got in a good walk last night, only 25 minutes, but better than no walk at all. We will see how today goes.

I need to get some healthy food in this house today.

Not too much planned. It was a Beautiful day, my right foot still hurts, went and bought some arch supports to see if that will help but foot is a little swollen so only ca wear shoes for a short time. Just walked a little between rooms to get some movement in.

Today is over, it's 7:45 and if I didn't get it done today it can wait until tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'll get done what I can and not worry about the rest. I'm retired. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?

No set plans except go to church in morning, to store after church, home, exercise and then relax.

Plans don't always work out. Today I had planned to spend the morning preparing dinner for my in-laws, but just I was getting down to it, a couple of pupils turned up which put me all behind. They missed their lesson and I offered to teach them this morning at 9.45 but not 11 and as they hadn't replied I assumed they weren't coming.

I wasn't looking forward to diner as my brother-in-law & sister-in-law are very critical, amazing cooks, and have told DH they believe my weight problem is caused by binging. It isn't, but how dare they comment anyway. My obesity is caused when I stop being careful of what I eat, and so I eat too much sweet stuff - ice-cream, cakes, biscuits and occasionally chocolates. When I say too much - too much means what would be normal size helpings for most people and too many times in the day i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner and probably a couple of snacks as well - on top of my healthy meals. Binging to me is eating until uncomfortable and I don't do that, although maybe that is me and my bad conscience just quibbling!

Dinner was okay. I didn't overcook the veggies, and although pudding was a bit small they enjoyed it, and who needs big helpings of blackberry and apple crumble. I abstained. I also abstained from the Thornton's chocolates they brought us. I told myself firmly that I don't like chocolates anymore. They are too sweet. It's very true too! It's just that having spent a lifetime overdosing on sweet things that sometimes when temptation is in the way my eyes deceive me and I think more about how I used to love sweet stuff and the sweeter the better than how I don't really like it now.

Saturday I painted part of the trim on my house, have only the sides left to do.

Sunday I am in Yarnell and we are getting our planters filled with top soil so they will be ready for planting in the spring. Don't know if that will be April sometime or early May, but we will be ready. Even now in February I see two of my bulbs have bloomed, can't remember the names right now, but it's one of those that smell good and has lots of tiny flowers on a cone shaped stem. Old age is not fun! lol
