Hold it one minute .. there was no pay increase last year either . so that is two years in a row for this to happen . they said at that time that it would stand for next year also . do not know how they knew that the next year was not going to need a pay increase but they deeded that it would not happen and it has not . lets see if they every give another pay increase to us or not . do not blame it on the current admiration . it comes from the last one bushes people .They can give themselves raises and cut us . look out the sky is falling .

No Social Security Increase 2nd Year Straight
Mon Oct 11 15:09:37 2010 by Angela Kaye Mason

Oct 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As most Americans know, the cost of living rises, every year, rain or snow, no matter who is in office at the White
House, or what job you may have. You are guaranteed to pay more at the pumps, at the grocery store, and for heat and water at home, and yet, for the second year in a row, Social Security and Disability recipients,
many of them Veterans who are disabled from fighting for their country, will not be getting a “cost of living raise”.

The United States government is expected to make an announcement later in the week declaring that there will be no increase for the over 58
million Americans who depend on the checks for their living. It will be only the second time in history that their was ever NOT an increase for
Social Security, with the first one being this year. This means that the only time Social Security recipients ever did not get their raise was during the current administration.

This does not seem to be a very smart move for those in office at this time. With voters already angry about the failing economy, forced
government insurance, and many other “changes” which have been brought about by the Obama administration, this is not likely to help the ruling party at the poles.

“If you’re the ruling party, this is not the sort of thing you want to
have happening two weeks before an election,” said Andrew Biggs, a former deputy commissioner at the Social Security Administration.
