No worries! Christmas travel was crazy and my eating was weird. I don't think it was bad, but I'm ready to get back on a schedule for exercise and to go back to my "normal" eating, if that makes any sense.

Hope you had good holidays! I'm hoping to go out for New Year's dinner tomorrow, but that's about it.

Sorry, Adlins!!! I've been wayyyy too busy lately.

Ok, I am only weighing about one to two pounds more than I did on December 1st - I think that's GREAT!!! I'd like to maintain for the rest of December. January 2nd will start a new month for me!!!

I was pleasantly surprised that even after going to PF Chang's for lunch yesterday my weight this morning was only up .4 lbs. I did well today. Of course, tomorrow and Saturday will be my free days. I look forward to getting back on track on Monday!

I hear ya - I'm not too worried either. This is not the time of year to fret over calories or workouts. There is way too much to do and surprisingly, it all gets done before December 25th!!!

I have been doing great but today, my husband wanted to go out to lunch. GRRRRRRRR He's a nice guy and all but seriously. Chinese food??? It's so hard to go healthy. But other than that, I did well today. Of course, my lunch put my calories and sodium numbers over the top but tomorrow's a new day!

Congrats on the good eating. Even with Chinese leftovers, I did good as well. Always nice to know that I can incorporate what I eat out and not go overboard.

I'm hoping to sneak in a workout or two before I head out on Saturday, but not sure how that will go. This, though, is the one time of year I don't really worry about it. Makes no sense to.

Christmas is just too busy!!!! I agree, tracking is helpful.

I did GREAT with eating today. I am looking forward to next week so I can start working out again. All my spare time this week is going toward "Christmasy" stuff, so no time to workout.

This week will be very different for me. I'm still hoping to do some exercise, but I've got a lot to do before Christmas and need to knock things up a notch. Still hoping to track though, which seems to be helping me.

Today, I did very well eating wise and drank about 8 glasses of water. I'm looking forward to another good day tomorrow!!

I've been tracking since I noticed weight creep faithfully for 5-6 days a week. And, today my reward was being one pound from where I want to be. 2 lbs in one week, which is incredibly rare for me as I lost most of my weight in 1 lb or less increments per week.

It does help see that hitting candy jars is very detrimental as well as some of the other bad habits that had creeped in.

I didn't make my cardio goal this week, but I think I was better off; I felt like I needed the rest and it's proving to be a good decision.

I had another good day of eating. We went out to dinner and I had a grilled chicken salad. I had a few sugar cookies, though, but I didn't go over my calories for the day.

I LOVE Italian food!!! I'm jealous, although I AM italian and make it here quite often!! Have fun at the party.

I have been tracking most days because it does help. I did great today, actually, with my eating. I'm hoping to continue it tomorrow.

Eating well is a good thing and I think helps even out the craziness of the season when we can't exercise as much. I'd committed to tracking my food more and am happy that I'm doing that. Tomorrow is the office Christmas party - Italian - so I probably won't track tomorrow, but I'm averaging 5-6 days a week on the tracking and I'm happy with that.

Yes, we are getting VERY close to Christmas!!! Wow! We are also going to my mom's for Christmas, but it's only for a day. I plan on over eating that day!

I'm really concentrating on just eating well until Christmas comes. Today, I did very well, actually. Hopefully I will be able to keep that up!

It is very close to Christmas! That was kind of shocker. I'm getting in what I can as once I head for my Mom's I know I won't be doing much of anything while I'm there.

This time of year comes around but once, so I try not to over think the exercise or food thing. And, sometimes I just simply put the scale away for a couple of weeks. :)

Well, I think I have to rename December, "No-Workout December!" I just don't have the time to dedicate to working out this month. Christmas is only 11 days away and I have a ton to buy still!!

Anyway, I had a lot going on this past weekend and I gained a pound back. But that's ok, it was expected. I hope to get back on track now that the weekend is over.

I didn't work out first thing this morning as planned, but I did later. Probably better as I was really stiff this morning and have a little bit of time, let me unstiffen, which I think gave me a better workout.

I'd love to go easy on the weekend, but it's also the best time for me to ramp it up as I usually workout in the evenings after I get off work.

Been way too busy for Sparkpeople this week. Been way too busy to workout, too. But I've been doing well with my eating since Wednesday and my weight has remained the same.

I love baked ziti! My workouts have been going good. Today, is my b-day and since I've worked out fairly hard for 4 days, I'm taking it easy tonight. :)

I thought I might do a yoga session, but I'm just enjoying lounging so I think I'll just continue with that activity.....

Yesterday was a tough day - we brought our daughter out to eat for lunch and then had a family over our home last night for dinner and I had made baked ziti. I had a great workout yesterday, though.

Today so far I did ok. We had friends over for lunch, but I did not overeat, nor did I eat unhealthy. I did not have time to workout today, although I may try to get a workout in before the day is over.

I did pretty good today. It was a workout day for me, but I did a new workout DVD that I like. Munching -- not bad. I've got to learn when I'm truly in need of a nibble and when I don't. It's all part of the journey....

At this point, I agree. I'd be happy to maintain for the month. I haven't thought about specific goals, but I am going to try and limit the munching at work as it's beginning to prove problematic.

What are your goals for December?

I am not setting my goals very high considering the time of year it is! I'll be happy just to leave December weighing what I weigh now!

Anyway, my goal for December is to lose only 2 pounds and maintain for the rest of the month. I'd like to weigh myself on January 2nd and weigh two pounds less than I do now.

Does anyone else have any goals? We can use this thread to list goals and come back everyday to post calorie intake, exercise, etc.

Support, accountability and motivation is what it's all about!
