It has been a while since I have had that time, I was pregnant and now I am nursing so it has been over a year so far since I had mine. I can't remember about the cravings, I was always moody. I think that cravings would be better for my family, lol. You are more conscience of it right now, as you get a craving I would also look at a calendar to see if that helps. Just an Idea...Oh yea I don't have time to journal everything, but I am thinking about doing it on SP under my journal so that way I am entering in my food and having a log as well, maybe I will start that today.

Can I whine? I know I should keep a food diary for a while, I hate them though. I love the idea of logging in to SparkPeople before eating. That should make me think. I did get back on track today.

I get like that too. Every time it comes around I get food cravings, and it never seems to be anything good for me. Sometimes I catch myself and just try to limit the foods that I crave.

Thankfully, not any more! No longer have the parts and it was the best move I've ever made. Anyway...

Try keeping a diary. Track everything - literally everything. Everything you eat, the time of day you ate, what you were doing just before you ate, what you did while you ate (like sitting watching TV or moving around), how you were feeling physically and how you were feeling emotionally.

This method is tedious and a bit of a pain but, it helped me realized that I was not only an emotional eater but also ate when I was bored too.

Lately, I've started sitting down and typing a post for SparkPeople before I eat. It allows me enough time to really think about why I'm eating.

I seem to have a recurring issue. Every month I start eating...a lot. After about two days, sometimes more, I realize this is the week before my time of month starts. You would think I could figure this out a bit more quickly, but somehow it always sneaks up on me.

Any one else with this issue? How do you deal with it?
