I'm new here too. Just started on SparkPeople last week.

February has been tough. I had to realize that my lethargy and wanting to go anywhere really was depression. I've always had down times, but it's never been so bad that I couldn't get myself out of it. I finally called the doctor and he put me on Wellbutrin SR. I've only been on it since Wednesday.

I'm hoping that as the medication gets into my system that I'll have more energy to exercise and be better able to control emotional eating. That's my life right now.

February has been so so. Only lost a couple lbs but I haven't gained either. The plan was to be down 8 lbs by now. I am down 5 so I can't complain. I think I have done well with all the temptations and b-days I had to attend in Feb.

I'm new here! But I'm going to jump on in...

February was a tough month for me. I had high expectations of myself, and instead, I've gained weight. I really just got to a point where I gave up and ate everything in sight whenever I was stressed.

AND, I still have not made exercise a priority. I'm unhappy about that as well. It's my biggest goal right now. I HATE exercising! HATE it! I know it has to become a priority for me, and I'm just not doing it.

I'm hoping March is much more successful!

Weight loss has been a bit tough but I'm seeing some results - finally! Down 4# this week!

Also I got yelled at yesterday by my doctor because I am trying to loose weight. I know it sounds weird, but I am a nursing mama, and my baby comes first. I was getting very concerned that I am not loosing that I was just hanging around the same weight give or take 5 lbs. My body is doing what it needs to to take care of my little one. With that being said I am not going to get so upset when the scale does not move, but I am going to make sure to start eating right and staying on track with exercise. When I am done nursing I will be able to loose the weight that much easier. I want to loose the weight but it is much more important to me to be able to give my son t he best start I can with nursing him. He is 7 months now and I am planning on nursing for at least a year but going through next winter for him If I can. we will see what he wants. When he is done, then I am a woman on a mission. I will still be on Spark People working towards being healthy but not worrying about the numbers as much.

Feburary has been a bad month for me. I seem to be getting off track and can't get back on it. I lost about 7 since I have started and I just need a kick in the butt to get losing more. Do you have any ideas that will help me?

February is going by so fast. I feel that I have made some real improvement. I began Spark at the end of January and so this is my first month, it will be one month on the 26th, that I have really been working toward my goals. I have began to make lifestyle changes that are hard now but becoming easier every day. I think February has been a good month for me. I hope it is as good for everyone else.

It seems that Feburary is starting off slowly for me, but it is getting better. I am just taking it one day at a time trying to get through everything. I know I can do it!

Woo Hoo I stayed in my calorie Range yesterday, I got to play with my boys and I got to sleep in this morning. So far so good. I am already trying to plan out the calories for tomorrow so that I know what I can eat because we are having a super bowl party here. I don't care who wins just want a excuse to have family over.

I got off to a late start with my New Years resolution. Since I have only been really working at this for a week my body is still adjusting. Right now it seems that the pounds are just melting off, six pounds this week, but I know that will end soon and I will have to really work at it.

My February goals:
Loose 8 pounds (2/wk)
Figure out the menu planner
Start counting calories
Walk at least two miles 4 days a week

Well so far I am doing well. I have a starting weight of 242 for the month so I have set a goal to loose 8 lbs (2 lbs per week). This morning I have planned all of my main meals for my tracker and put them in, now I can add snacks from there. I am happy with how I feel and I am going to stay motivated as much as possible. I did really bad in January, but it is a new day a new month and I can do it.
