My goals for the new year are to continue with weight loss. I'm not even discouraged that I'm not close to my goal, only because I've had a freaky year, I'm ten pounds less this year compared to last year at this time and I'm exercising so much more than I have in like 15 years. I feel great every day. Now, I just have to change my eating habits a little more. I do believe next year this time I'll have met my weight goals.

YES! I made it!

You are so right about it being a lifestyle change. At 50 years old I feel better than I did 20 years ago!

I hope everyone else can acheive their goals too, just don't give up. You're worth it!

I have my official weigh in tonight. How awesome would it be to make my goal on my SP anniversary? I have no reason to beleive I won't make it. For once I can't wait to weigh in! emoticon emoticon

Switching from nutrisystem to my own food was easy. I found foods in the grocery store that were similar to nutrisystem foods. I discovered SmartOnes, Kashi, Lean Cuisene, and other foods. I paid attention to the calorie and sodium content. The biggest lessons I learned from nutrisystem was portion size and drinking water. I used to measure everything but now I have an eye for portions. Occassionally, I do what I call a validity check and measure my foods. For example, I decided this week I will measure everything to keep myself honest. I drink 12-16 cups of water daily. To me, it is a change in lifestyle rather than dieting.

My initial goal was 225 and I've pushed it down to my ultimate goal of 190.

My goals for year 2 is to keep on losing weight and continue to be involved with Spark! I tried Zumba last night and would like to make this a weekly thing!

I'm ready to lose this weight once and for all!!

Well, for year two, I'm determined to lose the rest of the weight. I've kicked this year off well, I'm exercising 6 days each week and exercise means I have to eat right or throw up when I exercise. . . I hate to throw up! emoticon
