I definitely struggle with the fruits and veggies, particulary in winter months. It doesn't seem to be as difficult in the summer because of the abundant produce.

Think highly of yourself because the world takes you at your estimate.

SparkPeople has led me to think about healthy eating when I hear the number 7. 7 represents the number of servings of fruits and vegetables that I now try to have every single day.

I have to admit that there are days when I struggle with this -- especially since my normal tendency is still to be a carboholic in the form of all things grain or pasta. But, I've made great progress if I do say so myself. It's just an area that I have to really focus on daily. Having in my mind that I must get in 7 servings of good fruits and vegies really helps me not only to eat those good things; but also then stops me from having too much of something that is less good for me (at least less good when in excess).

Do you struggle to get the right balance of the recommended food groups?

Do you have any tricks to share that help you eat healthfully?
