My motivation is knowing how unhappy I was before SP. I may not look much different right now, but I know I am working to change that and I can feel my healthy choices starting to make a difference in my everyday life.

To start, my motivation was~ No one else is going to change how I live, look, eat, and feel. If you want it to change you JUST HAVE TO DO IT!! It's as simple and as hard as that.

There is a really inspirational song I found that also pumps me up when ever I need it. The lyrics are on my spark page under the blog MAKE YOURSELF

I love the Sparks Points! It's so enjoyable to work towards something (even if it's not tangible!). I feel like my hard work is rewarded by points in the bank! I'm saving up for a Dream Wedding, which is also my real-life motivation~we're getting married in 8 months!

Also, my pants are too tight! LOL. It's just not comfortable to wear jeans until I lose an inch or a half an inch. Already, after a week, they're feeling a little better! Seriously, that's a constant reminder.

Dream Dress, here I come!

My main motivation is my health, I am Diabetic and I can either figure out how to control this, or learn how to inject insulin.
And I just love the SparkPoints! I just figured out that you can 'buy' virtual presents with them! It is just too much fun!

I think my motivation changes daily. After a couple of days I just felt empowered and in control, which was very motivating. I just want to feel better and knowing that it's actually do-able is kind of motivating too.

Hi... I just did the "virtual model" thing and found it incredibly motivating to see myself aprox. as I am and then at my goal weight. It's as if it gave me a clearer vision of my destination. You can google it to find the site. I still have yet to figure out how to transfer it to my sparkpage.

Also, I'm surprized that I am a bit obsessed with getting spark points... it's weird but I like to earn them and along the way I have become more inspired...

I find motivation every day when I play with my daugher. She's 1-1/2 now, and loves to eat healthy food (she can't get enough berries, avocado, tomatoes) and doesn't like junk food (cookies, etc.).
It's made me realize how much my bad habits can harm her if I'm not careful. She is the most amazing little person and I would do ANYTHING to spare her the weight struggles I've had.

Plus, I want her to be proud of me, and not be embarrassed to have the "fat mom." And I want to be able to keep up with her and enjoy chasing her around, as opposed to just wanting to sit on the couch all the time.

Also - we'd like to have another 2 children, and that keeps me motivated. I was overweight for my first pregnancy, and that's really no fun. I want to be a cute pregnant woman, not a fat one who has trouble finding maternity clothes that fit. I want to feel confident and happy during my pregnancy, not huge and humiliated!

I also know that my parents and siblings see me as the "fat one" and think I'll just always be fat. I'd really like to prove them wrong!
