BCHARIE-- you can do it! I think butt & thighs are the first place the inches go from, and once you burn those off, the belly is next. Congrats on your progress so far!

Go figure...I am losing butt and thighs, would love to have the waist issue. I need to lose my belly badly. Good, heck no GREAT job losing!!

Thanks KRRDIS! Congratulations on your 10 pounds lost-- you can do it! And there is a way to measure shrinkage in the double chins-- when they're gone!

I absolutely agree, there was more to lose in the belly area, which is probably why I'm still dropping inches there. Thanks for your reply!

Losing 16 pounds already is great! You're doing better than I am (d--n those plateaus!).

Probably the stomach is where the majority of your fat is - you note on your page that you have a 'serious belly'. Losing inches there is good, since belly fat apparently contributes to/is associated with heart problems.

The neck not going down isn't that unusual. The hips may eventually shrink, but it sounds like that waist was first in line, wasn't it?

If only there were an easy way to measure shrinkage in double chins...

I'm thrilled with how Spark is going so far. I've dropped 16 pounds since April 1st, and I've lost inches as well. However, I noticed that while I'm still losing inches in my waist, my hips and neck remain the same. Anyone else seeing this effect? Is it because I had more to lose in the waist, and that's why I'm still dropping inches there?
