I know what you mean about DH. He does support me...but is not willing to correct his own ways...and he needs to. I just keep hoping that my influence will help. It's tough though because I just can't keep all that crap out of the house. He likes ice cream (the real stuff) and desserts and candy.....but with a little luck...I can convert him. I keep telling him (although he knows I don't mean it) that if he gets sick from his failure to change his lifestyle.....I'm not taking care of him....I laugh after I say it, but he gets the message.

One day at a time......in my red high heels, and my crown!

I am so done bein the fat girl...how bout you?

It's no longer a diet. I am calling it my live-it.

Hey Sasi,

I know what you mean. I sometimes find it hard talking about my goals to people. With my close friends and family, I always worry that they won't be fully supportive. I sometimes will hear things from my mom, like 'Oh, well, glad to see you're back at it.' Now, if this was from anyone else, it wouldn't bug me so much, but with family it sometimes feels like a backhanded jab.

Plus, I worry that if I tell people, then I slip, they'll notice that I've failed. Failure is something I really don't deal well with - the last thing I want is for it to be broadcast to everyone I know!

Anyway... I'm thinking the collage might work, and I'll keep it in my bedroom or somewhere out of the way where I'll see it every day, but not everyone else will.

My husband has actually been really supportive of me, although he's not as proactive about changing his habits. He's going to be a tough nut for me to crack!

Anyone else have some cool ideas??? A

I hate to admit that I have not completed that assignment. I did drag out some old "thinner" pictures. I did find a quote I like....but to actually put that stuff out and around.....I feel funny about it. Not sure why. I think because this is like my secret life. So far, I have not shared what I am doing with anyone. Only my husband knows I have cut back......and spend a lot of time on the computer....but I have not told anyone else.....I wonder why?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some ideas on how/where to put up my motivational pictures, and what sort of pictures other people use. I'm in Stage 3, part 1 and I'm trying to figure out what to do. I'm thinking a collage with lots of pics and quotes - has anyone done anything else? Any really creative ideas out there?

All thoughts are appreciated! A
