Weekends are the worst for me. I find it easy (ish!) to stick to my targets during the week, cos i have a monday-friday routine so I know exactly what times i'm gonna be having breaks and eating etc. But then it's like i'm let loose on the weekends, and i have to push sooooo hard to keep those cals down!
But we can do this guys. Little steps = big results. I try and set myself goals every week, and cos im super competitive (with myself and others) i try extra hard not to fail them. Tell someone else about ur weekend goals too...making urself accountable and the feeling of having to tell them that you didnt achieve what you planned will make you work extr hard o stick with it. x

I AM DONE!

Jessica, I just bought a food scale (4 dollars on amazon) and keep a measuring cup near the food so I now know exactly how much cereal I am eating! I lived on the stuff before and couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing weight!

Hang in there. You can do this!

I have had an awful week! I just can't keep my calories between 1200 and 1550. This week I am going to try to do better. Today I ate 500 calories in a bowl of Raisin Bran. At least that was healthy. I am still at a 2lb weight loss. Don't think the scale is going to budge. I just have to find out what I am doing wrong and then eat and track from there. If I keep going over on calories I will have to kiss my goal goodbye.......I am (or was) looking forward to buying some new smaller clothes. Stay positive! emoticon

I ate food this weekend that I couldn't even find calories for on google! How many calories in kobe beef ? Afghan food? Ah! But, like you all say, onward and upward!

Yes, it is easy to do and that is why we use the tracker because it helps us keep on track. Patricia

I had a great weekend and Monday too. However, today was NOT a good day. I don't know where my mind went. I consumed 1200 pizza calories at dinner. I have been awesome at counting my calories and servings until tonight. What was I thinking? Tomorrow WILL be a better day. Have you ever done this?

Thats what i love about this website, everyone can relate to one another. I am also back on track. Went to the gym and had a good workout. I am not going on the scale anymore until my weigh in day.

We can do anything we set our minds to, we just have to set our minds to do it.

I started out Saturday well, did my normal routine with Breakfast, Lunch and running errands w/ the kids. My DD even had a birthday party to go to and I only had water! No cake or pizza! Then came dinner ugh! We were at our shore house with my parents and sister and there was so much food! All of my favs. I had to have a little of everything! Then after dinner I tracked what I ate....holy camoly! Today I started the day out planning ahead since we were having a birthday luncheon for my step daughter. I wanted CAKE! So I cut my meals short to accomodate my big ole piece of CAKE! Start over again tomorrow....

HUGS!

I started out great, worked out Saturday morning and worked in the yard...then my honey took us out to dinner and I just enjoyed, even had dessert. Then I didn't get to the gym today, had left overs for lunch and we ordered pizza for dinner. UGH!!! (Although I did about 3 hours of heavy yard work today, so maybe I worked off some of it.) Tomorrow is another day! I know I'll do better.

Be good to your body, it's the only place you have to live.

I was watching my nephew yesturday and we made cookies so I had to have a couple! We also went to McDonalds. I havent eaten there in 3 years, especially after watching Super Size Me! But I had their Chicken Strips, fries and a diet coke. I felt horrible after I ate it! Today we went to a breakfast brunch and had a bit of everything and we had Chicken broccoli and cheese calzone for lunch! I cant believe I had that much food, I never eat like that! I still exercised though. Oh well, back on track tomorrow! : )

I had this terrible craving for chocolate this weekend. It wouldn't go away. So I messed up big time by buying and eating a couple of chocolate bars - even though I was already at my calorie limit. I'm just going to try and get back on track again with Spark and not give up.

My weekends are my weak point. We go out and I completely forget I am on a diet. I then get back on track on Mondays and work my butt off for the week. you would think I would learn, but I keep trying. I never give up so don't your either.

We can do anything we set our minds to, we just have to set our minds to do it.

We will stumble and we will fall but we will not fail unless we let ourselves. Let's pick back up and go forward. There is no yesterday. Patricia and I have been under a lot of stress because friends of ours have been very ill and Patricia sought comfort in candies but I did not scold her for we will all have days in which we are not perfect. We are human beings not robots. Be happy and just try. Hugs from Jeremy
