Today started out quite stressful. It's not the food plan, it's not the exercise. It's the computer doing wonky stuff today. I tried to log into my sparkpeople account and it didn't recognize me. I tried to reset the PW and it came up for someone's account that was similar to mine. Had a rough go with tech support trying to tell them that I didn't set up another account this morning. (why would I do that???? made no sense) AT LAST, I was able to log in after 2.5 hrs of confusion.

Trying to get back in step for today. Crossing my fingers for a productive day anyway.

Stress and lack of sleep plays with our emotions. I hope you were able to relax, rest and feel better.

I went thru a period of stress and insomnia. Took firm stand to relax ( unplug electronic, etc.) and go to bed early. My outlook changed.

I know this is a year old post, but it is where I am today. Stress and short sleep this week have taken their toll. "Just not feeling it" is an honest acknowledgement of my feelings, but it doesn't have to determine my choices the rest of the day.

Libby, I lost 70 pounds when I first joined SP. Broke my ankle and gained it back. Although I do have some health issues I am healthier than when I started. I eat wiser and healthier so I am stronger than when I started. My health issues are not about lack of exercise or food related but other things my body has thrown at me like an uncooperative thyroid.

Hang in there for the long run, do what you can and be healthier at 70 than you are at 60.

I wish I had some real words of wisdom for you. I'm currently in the same sad rut, but I know from experience that my mood will lift, I'll get back on track, and keep working at it. I hope you have a similar experience!

Waking up tired already. Food and exercise plans outlined yesterday abandoned by 7:30 am. 62 years of dieting "failure." What is the point/ What is going to change?

I know. I am being self-absorbed, and putting on a "pity party." I read the inspirational stories of others and think . . . "good for you! . . But that's YOU. Not me."

Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.

I have checked in 5 days in a row. Beyond brushing and flossing my teeth, there are not a lot of things I do 5 days in a row. . .

It is not easy to be a human being. Let's remember that, and be kind to one another.
