Sounds like a great place to live - not always easy to find countryside that's really got green spaces. :-)

If anything I'm doing more walking. I left Texas because of breathing problems. Dr says I'm allergic to petroleum by products, but mostly the Petrochemical plants. The only thing that would really help is moving 250 from a city, 50 miles from Houston surrounded by petrochemical plants wasn't cutting it. Now I live in North East Arkansas, in a little town of 2,000. The nearest city is 50 miles away and it has a population of 10,000, The big city is 350 miles away with a population of 197,000. I'm surrounded I'm still surrounded my energy plants, dams and solar farms. Arkansas is very proud of it's green space.

In the midst of moving and finding your feet in the new place, yes, I can see how you might forget taxes!

How are you settling in? Do you still do your walking?

I have (as I always do) a good reason for being late with the April thread. I'm visiting my son and daughter-in-law for a few weeks, and will be home again after Easter.

It's shaping up to be a busy 2019 at the Coff household, at least for the rest of the year, with another trip in June to visit my daughter (and spending the Fourth with her)... cousins visiting me in the UK in August... a cousin and I doing a car trip in the Maritimes in September... and still have the Christmas trip to Poland on the calendar. I had been thinking of coming over and catching up with both children (Watertown, NY, and South Bend, IN) in October, but I think I'll have to give that a miss. Too much airfare and too tiring.

Next year we have a big wedding in the offing, as my stepson and his fiancee are planning to get married.

I never used to be much of one for planning ahead, usually just doing things on a spur of the moment, but anymore, I can't begin to get organized unless I have a definite plan and plenty of time to sort everything.

Must be getting old, lol...
