I am like the tortoise...just poking along losing one slooooow lb. at a time. I'm down to 163. I had been 180 at my highest but I think I was 176 when I started Sparkpeople. I hope I can outrun the hare one of these days!

I quit using SparkPeople for a while, but I still worked on losing weight. I lost 25 pounds last fall and winter, and then maintained over the spring and summer. I have been kicking myself for not continuing the weight loss, but I have to keep reminding myself that I'm almost halfway there! (The math makes sense because I went up to 200 before coming back down. Halfway is 167.5!) So now I'm doing the diet I did last fall and coming back to SparkPeople. This combination will hopefully do the trick and maybe I'll lose another 25 or so pounds this fall and winter. :D

Ok...so, I really am a member of this team even though I am sure I am not known. I have been off the wagon so to speak but I am amazed to see the fantastic results of some of ya'll over the past year+, so if I am going to be accountable anywhere I figure it is here...anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

You guys look great.

I'm afraid the cookie monster in me took hold.
However, I'm 10 lbs to the good so it's time to start over. At least I'm so much healthier then (OMG) 1 1/2 yrs ago? I can't believe where the time went.

Well, I'm back. I do have one comment. I feel really bad for all those grocery shoppers carrying home cartons and cartons of pop. What a waste of money.

Stephanie, that's great! The lower you are, the harder it gets!

Ti, I am with you on the "freedom" - I just generally feel so much better that I WANT to do things now!

Time flies when you're having fun. I'm still on track, still losing weight slowly as I figure out maintenance. I'm loving every minute of my new found freedom since losing the weight.

Hey everyone!

I just realized it's our anniversary week of the month and we haven't done a check-in for a while!

How is everyone doing?
