Happy 1 year ANNIVERSARY!!! I've been up and down and hasn't really been committed like I should've been. That's no one's fault but my own. This is a NEW YEAR and I see myself 40 pounds lighter and that is keeping me motivated. That as well as having a 3 year old as my work out partner and 14 and 15 year olds as my chefs. This year my husband is more involved and he's been a big help! I'm staying focused to a healthier ME!

Hi everyone! What a year! I lost 32 pounds - went from 14s to 4s, got healthier, more active, and became more of who I wanted to be! But it's been a struggle. I maintained most of my loss, but the last few weeks were very hard, and I'm back up 10 pounds. I'm back on track though - and I KNOW that I will be back to that healthy, skinny bod again!

Good afternoon all.

I have had so many ups and downs this year and because of that I believe I only lost 5 pounds. I am still working on the rest. I wanted to be further along, but that is the way it goes.

Enjoy your day

Wow! I didn't realize it was a year already!
I'm happy to announce that I'm down 35 pounds from where I started!
I've been on a plateau since about mid-June.. I have been watching what I'm eating and changing up the exercise routine a lot.. I'm not letting myself get discouraged because I won't end up where I started. I have learned valuable lessons and experiences from this board, Thank You!

We should all be proud of ourselves!

Happy Sparkiversary Everyone! :)

emoticon Audra, you have done a wonderful job at your weight reduction. I am sure we are all very proud to have you on the team. I lost 70 pounds for the year plus many inches off everywhere and I look and feel a lot better about myself. I have still 30 pounds to go and have reach a little standstill but I will get there.
emoticon I re-evaluated my time frame and moved it from one year up to September this year which I think is doable. Not knowing when I started as what was achievable and what wasn't. I am pleased with my progress and I now have a great knowledge of healthy living. I do not follow it all but I am getting used to it.

emoticon Thanks to spark people. emoticon and the teams that I am a member of. emoticon

Hi all!

Yay for us - it's been a year! Wow!

I lost 35 lbs!!!! Lately it is more like 32, because I have added back two or three lbs recently, but I am going to make that a temporary thing.

I stopped eating fattening calorific take out so much and started eating at home much more often.

I can wear size 10 or 12 (or 31/32 in pants that are sized like that) now - before I was totally tight in 14s!

Last weekend I ran 2 miles! Wednesday at the gym I did these crazy hanging crunches I had no idea I could do. I am far more fit than I was before.

I still get frustrated and I am often challenged when my efforts don't seem to align with my results, but overall I am way way better than I was a year ago. And for that I also have to thank all my Spark friends, especially on this team!! No one else would ever listen to the minutia of how I feel about working out or overeating or whatever else I am dealing with. Thanks all!!

emoticon Happy Anniversary team! emoticon

I'm so glad that I found SP a year ago, it has completely changed my life, all for the better.

Thank you team mates for sticking with it through the ups and downs. I know I couldn't have done it without this teams daily check in thread, I feel like you are all a part of my extended family and I'm so glad we can all "talk" every day.

emoticon For all of us, we are still here, still sticking tight to our goals and still trying to do the right things 1 day at a time.

I got really discouraged for awhile. I haven't really lost any weight...but the other day I got the results back from my company's yearly wellness check. My cholesterol was half what it was last year, my sugars right where they should be and all the other numbers so much better then last year!!! I was so excited. It made me realize that I am in the right track! Now I just need to add exercise. You'd think chasing an almost 6 year old would be enough!!!!

One whole year - can ya believe it? I have learned so much...most importantly I think is realizing this IS a life long process. I know what to do and how to do it. The challenge is and will probably always be to actually DO it! But that's ok cuz I know I can.

Thanks to all the friends I've made here and I look forward to another year!

First of all, I'm proud of us that we're here! We're still working on it!

I've had lots of successes, and some frustrations--and it's time for a new goal. I'm trying to refocus for a new fitness goal--and then I don't do it!!

I'm bouncing right next to goal--within 2 or 3 lbs--and staying just under the fat/muscle ratio limit. That's great...but it's not where I want to stop. BUT--it's so close to good enough, that I have a hard time motivating myself to do more. Yet I really DO want to up the muscle ratio.

But many successes. I am at a good weight, and fat/muscle ratio, even if it is just squeaking under!

Just as importantly, I have made incredible progress on so many other personal goals--it was like my sense of what was possible just broke free!

And THAT is motivating!

Good work to us!!

Wow, this has been an amazing year! I have also been soda-free for over a year now!

Well, I have learned so much and I have a completely new lifestyle! I lost about 15 lbs, then went to West-Africa and gained basically all back, now I am working at it again and I just know what to do and I am ready to reach my goal weight before my two year anniversary!

I'd say I've made some important lifestyle changes. Obviously, my weight loss is on hold right now, but I crave getting back to "normal". Instead of going for the junk food, I eat a lot healthier. I am much more aware of what I'm putting into my body. Food is no longer a pleasure activity, but a way to fuel my body. I have made a lot of progress with the emotional eating. I'd rather talk to somebody about my problems than to eat them away.

I also crave the exercise! I get restless just sitting here, doing nothing. I actually WANT to be up and doing something. I am definitely looking forward to what this next year brings for our team!

Good for you Audra! You have done fabulous.

I had a bunch of set backs all year. I am actually up. But like Terry, I have learned a lot and I am more aware.

Happy Anniversary all!
