I hit my goal a couple of weeks back, but I was still scared to go to level 4. I have, and will continue--cause it really is about living a lifestyle, and that's what I'm working on right now--how to grow this to be natural and normal.

But I do think it would have been harder for me to do level 4 if I wasn't at goal. I do love that we can all decide where we want to go, how fast, how long!

The choices you make today will determine the path that your life will take. When you sit back and look at the decisions you've made in your life, are you happy with the route you've paved? If you're not, make a change today. The next time you make a choice, ask yourself if this decision will lead you to the path you want to travel along. Set some new goals that will lead you to your dreams and then plan your course. (taken from Spark reflections)

I am staying in stage 3. I just keep losing and gaining the same couple of pounds lately. We are still waiting for sunshine and warmer temps. up here so I haven't been walking as much as normal. I have figured out that my main nutrition problem is that I need a lower fat diet.

I'm going to stay in stage 3 too for now. I haven't been on track lately with moving.

I'm still going to stay in stage 3 for a while, I don't feel ready yet to go on to the last stage

I am sticking around a little while longer at stage 3. I haven't really done all of the action steps it requires--blogging, etc. Mainly because I am so awful with the computer that my kids have to help me!
When I complete all those, I will be movin' on.

Thanks for your responses. I did read the overview. While this phase is about maintaining the lifestyle that we've been working to create and motivating others, it is still about reaching for goals. Since I'm already doing some of this already, now I figure - why not make the jump! And as has been mentioned, there is a safety net - I can jump back if necessary.

Good afternoon all.

Today I moved on to Stage 4. We all have struggles to overcome in life. Without the struggle, we would not know if we were making progress. If extra encouragement is needed then stay at Stage 2 or 3, but if you think you can make it or try to make it, move on to Stage 4. You never know what you can do until you try.

Now go and enjoy the day.

I started Stage 4 and it seems like its more about motivating others! You can read about what it entails without going into it. As for Patti, it seems like you've made the right changes, but it is going to take longer if you can't exercise as much. Do you do weights at all? I do some of them in a sitting position and it's easier to do. If you build more muscle you will in turn burn more calories. I believe that each person must go at their own pace and that goes for moving to the different stages. Good Luck Ladies!

Same issues for me, I have been loosing the same 3 pounds for a month now. The good thing is the lifestyle is natural, but no weight loss. I have been staying in stage 2-3 and not going to 4 because I feel that is more for maintenance. Am I right, help would be helpful. You all are at the same part of this journey, what are you doing to stay focused?? I feel good but would like more weight off. As you know I struggle with a breathing condition so my exercise is very limited. I have added calories and subtracted calories. No results there. So the exercise I think is the part to change, but I am very limited. So I have been eating my carbs for breakfast and lunch only. More veggies for dinner, and more fluids. So any other suggestions. Thanks in advance,
patti

This was my blog today, but, with a little editing I'm posting it here because I'm really interested in how others in this group are feeling.

Today my Start page tells me its time to move on to phase 4, but I'm wondering if I'm ready. I've hit a little plateau - I haven't lost lbs or inches in about a week. I've kicked up the strength exercises, but cardio's fallen off. So I'm not discouraged (yet) since I'm not exactly giving it my all at the moment.

I still struggle with making good choices when I go out to eat. I struggle to get in 8 glasses of water per day. I'm slightly more than halfway through my weight loss journey and I don't want to loose momentum.

BUT I'm curious to find out if I've got what it takes to keep up the momentum without regular prompts from SP. Could this next step be a preliminary attempt to continue what I've learned about taking off pounds and inches before I need to learn how to maintain my weight loss? Should I make the leap? Are others not continuing to the next step?
