I'm a tad late on this, but...

I have lost 26.5 lbs, 2 pant sizes (from an 11 to a loose 7), 4.5" off my waist, 3" off my hips, 3" off my chest, 1.5" off my bust, 5" off my stomach, and 2.5" off each thigh.

I still have about 5 lbs before I reach my goal, but I am confident I will get there.

So far I have lost just a couple of pounds shy of 60! I have gone from 42 pants down to a loose 36, soon to be 34!

Hello everyone
I have lost a slow 5 pds.My last Dr physical went great,My waist is getting close to 34 they are actually a little loose..Its these last 13 pds that are going slow.I have been working out more and doing my best with food portions.I really appreciate all the wisdom in here. emoticon

emoticon Wow go team! I just found this thread and I am so excited by all the progress we've made! Big or small we are definately healthier people then when we began and I think we all deserve a pat on the back. You guys are sooo motivating! So I'm happy to report that I have lost 32.4 lbs, 6 inches off my waist & 5.5 inches off my hips! Also I can now fit into a size 6 pair of pants (Thats means I'm down 4 sizes!) It's amazing how much progress we can make in such a short time! Keep on keepin on! We rock!!!

EVERYONE is doing such a super job on here! I just want to thank you all for the motivation that you have given me to succeed! Without you, I would still be that unhealthy, heavy, sad person that accidently found Sparks! Or was it an accident? I believe it was a miraculous intervention from the universe that got me here. It's hard to read these posts without crying--and I read every one, back to the start. I'd say we're amazing--but that hardly seems to tell the story!

Understanding, motivation, self-awareness, new knowledge, progress, goals being met, new goals being formed--it IS motivating, just to read this. And we are MORE positive and amazing as the months go on. I want to go find SparkGuy and have him come see--he'd be proud!!

I've been learning how to live in maintenance, which is fun and also a challenge of it's own kind. I still use the tracker, but am just beginning to believe that one day I will be able to live without it, and still keep on track. To live 'normally', which is so rare!!

I eat much differently--fresh fruits and veggies are 500 times more frequent! And whole grains, more dinners at home--with treats still on occasion.

And my true self-confidence is better too, trusting what I really can do.

It's life changing--and in just 4 months!! And it's so fun to see other lives being changed!!

We totally rock--Sparks are flying!!

Terry good on you for recomitting! 9 lbs is still a lot to be proud of though, please don't get discouraged.

I finally just got a chance to update the ticker today emoticon I'm under 200! I've lost 18kg / 39lbs and i'm fit, I kick butt! My husband (the skinny one) can't keep up with me, so he's starting to work on his fitness again, I used to be the one dragging my feet following him around. Now that makes me proud!

I've learnt how to make good food decisions, i don't have to use the tracker everyday because I know if I've been naughty or not.

I've learnt that it's not all about numbers, as good as it is to be under 90kg / 200lbs, it's so much more important how much more I can get out of life by being fit and able.

emoticon and I love this team. You all rock!!!!

I've just had a WONDERFUL moment!

I stepped onto the scale this morning for my weekly weigh-in.

I was praying to see 262, which would take me to 50 pounds lost...

But instead, I saw 260.5!!!

3.5 pounds GONE this week!

WHOOOO HOOOOOO!

Add that to the 10 hours of sleep that I got going into today, and my sore right knee doesn't seem so bad! Lol!

I loved reading all the other 4 month stories - there are some awesome success stories on this team. We all have so much to be proud of!

Keep up the great work!

I love this topic!
I've stalled in my weight loss but maintaining.
However, this past month I've upped my activity.I'm riding my bike a few miles 3-4 miles weekly in addition to doing 10000 steps on the pedometer (almost) daily. This is HUGE for me! Four months ago, I would come home from work and sit in my lazyboy, eat in my lazyboy, crochet in my lazyboy, and be miserable trying to get out of my lazyboy. I can keep up at work with the fit younger girls now(nursing - in a busy outpatient clinic - pushing stretchers - on my feet for 8-12 hrs+) I've gone down one X in size. My grand daughter likes to snuggle in my lap -there's room for her now. I can hug my hubby better. Best yet, I'm a lot less ornery to everyone because I feel so much better about myself!

OK, I've been on Sparks for 4 months with the rest of you, and this is the first time I've seen this thread!! Darn. You are all so motivated, and doing so well. I did lose a whomping 10 lbs. but can't seem to get beyond that.

Congrats to all of you who've lost 20 and 30 lbs. and gone down clothing sizes. That'll be me, someday!! LOL

Terry, I'm so proud of you for making an awesome decision to invest in your health--your future. You are doing great!!

I'm pleased to report that I've gone from size 24/22 to 18/snug 16. I'm stronger and wiser (when it comes to making healthy choices). I've lost 38.8 pounds.

Good afternoon all.

I am loosing weight slowly. I've been down the diet road before and it was a down and back up trip. Well this time, I will take my time and loose it permanently. The inches are coming down as well. I think next week I'll be moved to stage 4. Be that as it may, I am still a learning curve.

Hello Everyone,

I have been on a weight loss journey for years...but only treading water. Since joining SP 4 months ago - I have a new determination and committment to being healthy. It shows, not so much in the scale tho. I have to tell myself that it took a lot of years to get this way and expecting it to come off in just a few short months isn't very realistic.

That being said, I was wearing a size 14 Last August (when I joined e-diets)and made a little progress - but I am now down to a size 10 with SP!!! The scale is moving slowly but surely, my body is changing and so is my outlook! I look forward to posting and getting messages from my friends and I no longer fight with my family about eating out. They are actually supporting me now!

All in all things are looking good! I just changed to stage 4! emoticon emoticon

Today, Thur 6-12-08

Is my fourth month anniversary with SP and this past month I have to say that I move faster and I'm even stronger then I was at the 3 month anniversary.
While I had to stop walking for a few days this month, I'm still maintaining my weight. I feel like I don't need to eat more then 1550 calories like I did just a few weeks ago. A few weeks ago when I was hungry I walked for 30 min instead. A GREAT GOAL! I realize my body is adjusting to it's new weight and I've learned patience. I don't need to loose a lb or two every single week. Learning how to maintain the weight I've lost when life happens is just as important. Today when I knew I hadn't eaten enough and started to get hungry, I checked my tracking and figured out that I was short of protein-fat-Vit D & fiber. I then checked my SP menu and ate only those foods that would fulfill those needs. Thus I learned to identify how I felt and what I needed to eat to feel better.

Moving forward, I'll adjust my calories downward and learn what my new calorie intake should be. I'll also make sure that only smaller portions will sustain me with the same variety of foods.
Hope this helps all of you. After all we all now have less to maintain then we use to. It's not such a struggle any more. It so nice not having so much body to take care of. I FEEL FREE!!!! I LOVE ME!!!

Wow! I'm so proud of you ladies. And a little disappointed with myself. I've lost 9 pounds. It should be more.

I've decided to go back to stage 1. And really follow the plan. Not the food plan, the planning plan, the motivation plan, the living a new lifestyle plan.

Happy 4 month anniversary, everyone!

Since starting SP, I have lost 32.5 pounds, went from a size 18/20 to size 14 (and size 14 is getting very baggy), I can now wear sleeveless shirts, and even dared to wear a belt!

I can even cross my legs now!

I can do a whole exercise DVD without stopping.
I have gotten 3 people to join SP as well, and have several others "looking" into it.

I lost weight and gained a whole lot of SP friends!

Just so you all know, I think this thread is the most motivating! It's so important to look at the big picture from time to time and see how all those small steps get us where were going!

I have lost 11.2 pounds, and gained a new outlook on life! I now know how to exercise, eat healthy, and basically live life to the fullest. I desperately need clothes that fit, LOL! I have lost more inches than lbs for sure, and gained muscle -- I am more toned. I am also much stronger now, I can do about 50 pushups at once. I am just generally in better shape. And I feel wonderful!

Oh my gosh!

It is that time again! It's gone by so fast!
This Thur is my 4th month weigh in so the proof
will be in the scale! Now I've really got work my
